Man the refs blew it for the Jets. That roughing penalty on Lowrey turned the game and turning a blind eye to all the stuff parayko was doing to schiefele all game long. I'm starting to believe these people online when they say Gary doesn't want a Canadian team to win.
You left out the part that Binnington is the only rookie goalie in Stanley Cup history to have all 16 wins.

I've said from the start of the season….let's see what the Jets and Helley really have in the playoffs! People were lauding the Jets season and saying "this Jets team is different"! Well here we are and the Jets are now facing a team with ALL the momentum and the better goalie. If the Jets win game 5 they still have a shot at the series. Game 5 is always the pivotal game and the teams that win it usually win the series. Game 5 will likely go to OT

Comrie isn't as good as Bucky and won't get you a Cup. Bucky's hasn't been shining in this series, but he's an outstanding goalie in most facets. In a series, teams make adjustments to attack the team goalie's weaknesses. The Jets have got to figure out how to play to his strengths and get him some swagger back.
Could be like the 1994 Eastern Conference Semifinals when Jacques Lemaire had Chris Terreri start the games in Boston and Marty Brodeur played the home games in New Jersey.

Man you're as disappointing as the other "hockey guys'. Games 3 and 4 the Jets D imploded under the Blues relentless forechecking – this is the big issue for the Jets that the media deflects from. They are porous, and not physical enough so far against a team like the Blues – same with the Avs last year. Please dispense with the Hellebuyck bashing. This isn't his fault.
As a Blues fan this is fun, but its still just a tied series. They've gotta be able to break through in Winnipeg. The Jets are still dangerous as hell. Series far from over.
I will forgive Binnington for beating Hellebuyck in the 4-nations if he beats him again this series.

Binnington is insane, the fact that we have a goalie that we can always depend on in the biggest games is so lucky. He kept us in this game in the first period, and the team settled in and did their job in the final 40.
I always let out a chuckle when you mention the fans letting the officials know they suck.
Comrie is very good, I would go with him in St. Louis, the only worry I have would be if the Jets can give him the goal support

I maintain that if Winnipeg completes the full choke in this series, everyone is banned going forward from talking about them as contenders until they actually go on a long run. Doubly so for Hellybuyck; this is the time of the year that actually matters and if you can't ever get it done come April, you don't deserve to be talked about with all the other best players who actually deliver.
Man oh' Man, I'm glad my thinking was proven wrong. Thought they might win one game, as the Blues have too much pride to be swept (particularly in front of the home crowd), BUT I don't know what's going on with the Jets?!!! In the 1st two games they looked fast, I mean very fast, and the Blues looked exhausted in the third period of both games.
In game 3 and 4 the Jets don't look fast, or dangerous. And, no, it's not just their goalie. Even if the Jets win the series, and I hope they don't, they don't look like they can go the distance.
As another great Blues fan told me after this latest victory, we are playing with house money!!!!

I think monty has figured it out. They shut down scheiffle and redt of team fell. Hes also figured out that you score on helkebuyck over his shoulder. This is also not a big team and the blues are hitting them hard. They looked worn down and blues look like the fresher faster team and without holloway
The Blues will never win in Winnipeg… They're going to lose this game tomorrow… Then they'll go back down to St Louis and romp and then it'll be all over in game seven in Winnipeg…… and you can bring out JoeBu or whatever… this is definitely a series where the home team has the huge advantage….. If I were Arniel I'd come right back with Hellebuyck… because if he goes with Comerie and they lose .then who starts in St Louis?…..
