We found out that New Jersey Devils forward Paul Cotter was suspended 2 games for his hit to the head on Adam Pelech. Was that a fair amount of games for the Devils forward?

I loved how the team rallied around Pellech lol no balls! All mangina
I have tuned out. I tuned out after they lost the first game of season when they had three or two goal lead.
I noticed there was no NY Islanders response. The Islanders are shameful. I'm ashamed to have been a fan for so long….. all these years of losing. I'm sorry maybe I was spoiled witnessing the Dynasty years and the gritty post dynasty teams from 1985 to 1993. I followed this team through thick and thin all they way to game 1 of this season and for the first time of my life I tuned out. I don't care. I hope someone in ownership reads this because I can't be the only one.
Should have been 10 games. Cotter is a piece of garbage loser
He gets suspended for two meaningless games. The Devils are already in the playoffs and have their position locked up. If the league is going to suspend someone, it should be in games that matter. He should be suspended two playoff games.
I know a lot of fans don't like fighting etc but under roy the islanders have seemed like a softer team to me and we can't score enough to get bullied out there
Was not suspension worthy. He was looking at the puck the entire time. I don't like Paul Bissonnette but his take on it at the intermission was the correct take. Yes, major 5min, yes, maybe tossed from the game, but this is an over-reaction. He is not going to the head intentionally at all. He IS going for the puck till the last minute. I know it's hard to see it this way when it's your team, but you need to look at it not through "Islanders" glasses. I hope some other hockey fans, non-Islanders fans chime in here.
