  1. Knew it. Agreed with what you said. Told'ya Canucks traded the wrong guy. It's simply EP40's work ethics. Yup. Tocchet's seen enough of EP40 and doesn't want to deal with him anymore. He's just not a pro, period. EP40 played enough to get a long term contract and stopped working. Now the entire world knows about EP40's work ethics, Canucks is stuck with him forever. Will not be surprised that Hugh wants out , too.

  2. Well management got the players he wanted and got rid of alot players he didnt like and now he just leaves. Tocchet wasnt even in league before canucks called him up. Dude knows he not good coach just wanted to leave before people figure it out.

  3. I believe it! Rick Toccete was a hard hitting, hard working player with a great nose for the net. Very much like J.T. Miller. Why would he ever want to get rid of Miller ( a player with similar work ethic and values). TheMiller deal was all ownership and didn't include Toccete in the final trade decision. It was very obvious to me. This is why the Cunacks will have trouble keeping Quinn Hughes. The writing is on the wall. There goes any hope for a Stanley Cup anytime in the near future.

  4. Tocchet should be fired, Vancouver hasn't performed. EP40 is a scorer not a screen, so why did Tocchet place him as a screen all season? Forza Vancouver!

  5. lol that's some stupid 🧢 no way he wanted petey gone. esp with how the canucks performed last year.

  6. So how much longer till garland and the rest of the coaching team follow the coach. And a good guess is Hughes will be joining the devils now

  7. You know tocchet was hurting when he had to confirm Jt was traded. I knew he right away he preferred Petey gone over miller. To be honest so did I. But man when the management goes against the coach and trades away the other guy then you know this relationship is over. But it make u wonder tho. The management really chose Petey over miller and tocchet and the rest of the coaching staff cuz you know they are gone too. Alvin this just dug your grave buddy.

  8. I believe it… and I wish both management & Tocchet had all told Aqualini to pound sand.. either they allow them to move on from Petey or they all quit.

  9. Petey will be exactly what Tocchet supposedly said! AND, the Owners always meddle and that is also the reason why this team will NEVER win a CUP. More drama! You asked the question and I totally believe it to be 100 percent true.

  10. I’ve long concluded the EP40 is not the player to take us to the Cup. His lack of leadership and more importantly desire to win/work ethic (and merely cash his big checks) is so evident by those on the inside the organization.

  11. 45pts playing on the top line and pp1…arguably the worst player on the team since last years all star break. He was by far the worst player in the playoffs. After the drama this season I was hoping both JT and Petey were traded just for a fresh start for everyone. If we get stuck with Petey after July it probably won’t end well. His end of year presser was bad and seemed to be the exact same guy that doesn’t care and is collecting his millions and that’s that. We went from a young and upcoming team to a complete disaster and a lot of that centres around Petey. He’s a cancer.

  12. This Canucks team this season was broken even before Tocchet had chosen to leave as head coach. The future of the team looks quite murky, even with stud defenceman Quinn Hughes signed to a contract that doesn’t expire until June 2027.

  13. EP40 getting paid that much and performing that poorly is a big locker room morale killer. so many guys will be asking "why is he getting paid that much more than me when I am playing better?"
