As a neutral fan, this feels like watching a social experiment. How much agony can a fanbase take from the same group of players and team lol.
A smart leaf fan will put money on the sens tonight…..if the leafs somehow but not likley win it then great ,but if the sens win game six atleast you made money off it….makes it a win win situation
The players don't have the 2nd, 3rd or 4th effort to score. If things don't go their way, they give up too quick. Even if they beat Ottawa, next is Florida Panthers and they will not be able to win against them. Unfortunately, it's time to dismantle the core 5.

i did not know adam is marilyn's son that's pretty cool , leafs will win game 6 but it really doesn't matter now they'll get swept by the cats , they couldn't close in 5 like every other eastern conference series did nuking this franchise may be the only way to exercise the demons

Leafs went from the only team in the east who could sweep to the only series left playing.
At this point, if steve doesn't believe F him too. Get on board or get the f out the way. Like Jessie said, we aren't even up for elimination, and Steve leader of the quitters has resogned already. It's not funny.
Itâs all the players at this point. Their inability to perform under the lights is unlike anything Iâve ever seen in any sport. You have to move on after this.

Hey lads a Winnipeg fan here lets not forget they are playing a tough skilled team. Ottawa was only 5 points out of 2nd place and did not back into the playoffs. For some reason I get the impression that Leaf fans think it is going to be easy and that the Sens are going to fold. They are a very motivated well coached team that has not been to the playoffs in almost a decade and have something to prove. There were 3 overtime games that one shot the other way and we have a different series and Ottawa is approaching one game at a time. Since game 4 I see the leafs squeezing the sticks a little tighter and they need to realize this team is not going to lay down for them. Cannot wait for game 6 and we shall see what happens there.
Iâm a loyal Leafs fan â always have been. But loyalty doesnât mean ignoring hard truths. As much as I appreciate Mitch Marner and enjoy watching his skill on the ice, it's clear that this team, as currently constructed, is not built to win a Stanley Cup.
This offseason, the organization needs to make bold, strategic changes. Marnerâs contract represents significant cap space that could be better utilized on players who bring grit, physicality, and a true âwin-nowâ mentality. I would also seriously consider moving William Nylander. While his skill is undeniable, we have to acknowledge that he and Marner are not built for the type of hard-nosed, playoff-style hockey required to go deep in the postseason.
Craig Berube's system will demand a different kind of player â tougher, hungrier, and more willing to battle. Itâs time for the Leafs to align their roster with that vision.

1973, age 12, I tell my best friend I gave up on the Leafs. I said they'd never win a Cup. They never fail to prove me wrong. I come here not to support the Leafs. I come here to laugh at those who do. Unlike the media fan boys, you couldn't pay me enough to support the Leafs.
All Iâm gonna say is this, even if the Leafs win this series, today or Saturday. They have to play Florida with ANOTHER Tkachuk, as well as the rat infestation of Marchand, Bennett, etc.

Did anyone watch the Lightning series? Their PP was awful. They couldnât generate offense when trailing games. And goaltending was suspect. Zero shots in a 5 min major penalty. NHL points leader didnât perform well. Gave up a lead and lost a game with a few minutes left in regulation. Lightning cost themselves against their series. The difference so far for Leafs is they have goaltending and had one bad game. Every team has played a bad game in postseason. If Toronto doesnât finish off this series then they deserve to be scattered to the winds. They have two games left to prove they deserve to play for the Leafs. Their effort in game 5 was simply unacceptable.
