  1. I still have my gold Fleury jersey.
He won the Vezina that year in it.
Also handed the Habs the semifinal, but we try not to talk about that.

  2. Nyquist with the bruh moment of the playoffs…..drag your effing leg bro….this is something they teach you in mites

  3. Shannon sounds a little salty talking about us not waving towels. We were waving them and bringing our usual Playoff energy most of the night (I’ll admit there was a little bit of a lull during 2nd period). We were lucky enough to be sitting 11 rows behind Flower for what might* be his last NHL appearance. We’ll see how Gus feels on Thursday. Blessed to be a VGK fan from Season 1 on and Blessed to have been there last night. Go Knights Go!

  4. These automatic reviews are pissing me off now. Same thing happened to the Blues last week. It's BS that the other team isn't on the hook for a bench minor whenever the eye in the sky arbitrarily decides 🙄 Idk if the vgk bench would've challenged the offsides if they hadn't had like two free minutes to sit there and look at it while the league was doing their review.

  5. Just anecdotal re: the battle towels – we were sitting behind some Minny fans and when the 3rd period goal was called back he slammed back in his seat in frustration. The fan directly behind him had a full cup of beer in the drink holder and it was instantly jostled and hugely splashed up. So the battle towels came in handy to mop up the spillage on the fan. I told him it was his own fault for not drinking fast enough. He agreed. So Shannon, a couple towels weren't waved because it would have sprayed beer droplets. But maybe that's not a bad thing….

  6. Fell bad for flurry. Tough loss to his old team in overtime. Still loved and respected here in Vegas. But go knights go.

  7. If a play is offsides, then call it the fuckin first time. So tired of the bullshit challenges that find that one camera frame to turn the call over. I don't know why you just shrug your shoulders at that and don't criticize the league for such a stupid practice.

  8. Game was a pure adrenaline drip, was ready to give up when Boldy smoked Pietro and then the offsides goal

Think Vegas will look a lot better if they advance, this Min team is scrapping, hitting hard, and messing with Eichel

  9. Vegas Golden Knights fans endured a dramatic and often heartbreaking six-year journey before finally lifting their first Stanley Cup—a triumph that felt more deserved than any in recent memory. From their astonishing inaugural season that saw them reach the Finals, to years of near-misses, controversial exits, and relentless criticism from traditional hockey markets, the team and its loyal fanbase withstood the scrutiny and pressure with unwavering belief. What sets their wait apart is the sheer emotional investment packed into such a short span: the Golden Knights built a competitive identity from scratch, embraced a city still reeling from tragedy, and created a passionate community that rallied behind them through every high and low. When the Cup finally came home, it wasn't just a victory—it was vindication for a franchise that had been told they hadn't "earned it," when in truth, they'd earned it more completely, more defiantly, and more dramatically than anyone could have imagined.

  10. I feel like people are being way too hard on Minnesota and Guerrin here. His drafting and trades for younger guys have been really solid for the most part. He's been hamstrung since the start by brutal contracts from the previous regime. The fact that this team is even a playoff team with 14mil of wasted cap on parise and suter is an accomplishment.

  11. This was a “bonus” series for me and most Wild fans. Nobody expected them to even be competitive, so it was a pleasant surprise when they came out swinging. At this rate I wish they just got swept if they’re going to give me hope and take it away like that

  12. Ruslan Khazheyev from Chicago Wolves was on call as a backup when Andersen went down, and that was in New jersey, so seems like the carry at last three goalies, but only dress two

  13. Hockey Guy you should come down here to Vegas for a game and witness for yourself how amazing the fans are here to our team, its players and to visitors. ❤

  14. I am convinced that the Wild are just not allowed to win a series no matter how well they play. They had a chance to win game 4 in regulation but nope, sends to overtime and guess what, give Vegas enough chances they'll eventually win the jackpot.
Rinse. Repeat. TWO reviews on a goal that would cause the Wild to win a third game. Is it a good goal? Yes? Nope! Overtime… Yep, jackpot won by the team that can keep playing until the win. So instead of a Wild 3-2 lead or series win it's now two straight overtime losses and now nearly everyone's brackets will proceed as usual with Vegas moving on. Sad

  15. The move putting Karlsson with Eichel in the Game 4 2nd has been the neutralizer to The Thrill and Boldy. Playoff Coaching at it's finest!

  16. I'd say I'm heartbroken, but we Minnesota sports fans are used to this. Gut-punch losses are as comfortable as a cozy sweater to us.

  17. Can’t imagine Vegas challenges without the league giving them all that time during their review. Pretty lame end to a game.

  18. I love that your wife is a Wild fan. Heartbreaker for sure, I hope we can force a game seven and give our boys a fighting chance. Kraprizov and Boldy have been special this series, it will be a shame if they have to exit the first round.

  19. I was accidentally whipped in the head with battle towels all night long…. Small price to pay to be at the game. Playoff hockey – there's just nothing like it.

  20. Two OT losses in a row for Minnesota… This series could've been over with an upset already, but there is no way Vegas loses two in a row now

  21. Minnesota is not winning this series, but they have looked really good against a top tier team in Vegas. A solid top line centerman would really bring their squad together, I think

  22. Hopefully Gus’ illness was just hydration or exertion related. He really had the team on his back killing all those penalties.

  23. Gustafson's positioning was, well, questionable at best. On one goal, he's playing the left post – and at an angle at that, partially out of the crease – leaving three-quarters of the net exposed. If that puck goes across the ice, or a rebound ensues, you're a dead duck. Keep the door closed…Not gonna bust his chops over it – he was sick, I get it. But if that was the case they should've put Fleury in earlier…But a good game by both teams overall…

  24. I'm not sure what shot you guys saw, but I was at the game, and the towels were waved all the time.

  25. As a Vegas fan I really did feel empathy for the Wild and their fans. I’m Happy we won. But, I know the feeling of being on the opposite end of that call. Good luck in game 6. 🤙🏽 Go KNIGHTS GO!!!

  26. You never know. 2 games in a row isn’t all that crazy. The real challenge is forcing the game 7 to begin with. One game at a time.
