The Toronto Maple Leafs are having all kinds of problem getting by the Ottawa Senators who haven't made the playoffs since 2017, Ottawa is giving Toronto one heck of a fight I'm impressed!

Habs fan here: I’m cheering for both the Leafs and Sens, as much as I’m cheering on my Habs. Canada needs a cup right now. But the Leafs core five don’t play with the urgency and emotion required to make it past the first round. And they’ve never learned to play at that level. Leafs blow this, it is time to blow up the core five.

I actually became a Leafs fan this year. I heard through the grapevine a lot about their reputation in playoffs etc. but didn't have all the details in full (To be fair I never could have imagined how bad it really was). Game 5 was a real shocker and even in game 4 I noticed a rot starting so I did some research which sent me down a rabbit hole going into an 8 year deep dive and….WOW. Simply stunning. It was like detecting a terminal illness early, luckily I detected it before I was in too deep and I'm sorry but almost as soon as I became a fan I'm gonna have to ditch the Leafs. They're just too radioactive.
