   The issue is the jets don’t play a playoff style hockey and it shows the most for a goalie because they give up the goals, he is not washed his team is just not good enough

   Have you looked at the shot charts from this series? The Blues shots have come from the center of the ice over and over again. The Jets are Swiss cheese in front of him, he could still be better, but it’s more than just a goalie issue.

   The Jets aren't the ONLY team that has had bad results in the post season.

   By the numbers goalie struggleing in playoffs, playoffs are chaos, it is a different game, goalies like flurry, quick, tim thomas, pat roy, come to mind, you need some extra sauce or flare to be the goalie to steal games. Hellabuck just does not seem to have that, dont get me wrong, its defense and a team game, its not like hellabick sucks, he just plays a near perfect standard game, but he is not takeing his game to the next level in the playoffs, could 100% just be a mental thing

    Nothing is wrong with him. That’s how he is in the playoffs, he’s been like that for years now. Good in the regular season and well not so good in the playoffs.

    The Blues are going to continue expose the Jets because the BLUES ARE MEANT for playoff hockey. It is quite litterally, the same hockey they have been playing when we went on that win streak. Thats the thing. And we are without Holloway, who was a HUGE part of our team, but he will be back soon. The Blues play physically, move the puck and don't give up on plays. Forecheck, backcheck, cycling the puck and shots from the blue line some net front traffic. I think the Blues can win this series.

    Maybe hellebuyck is good for a few games but once a team finds his weakness he significantly declines.

    It’s simple. In the regular season he doesn’t play the same team game after game. St louis have been able to like all other opponents in postseason for Hellebuck or whatever. Yeah, what is your name?? Anyway. When studied the guy is easy to beat and as a non fan of either team am convinced the blues win in six games.

    Helle is just burnt out from all the games played. I would start Comrie for game 5 and start Helle if the Jets make the next round…

    Let's ponder on why does Helly insist on playing the puck. He scores on himself more than any other goalie in the league. He gets nervous and needs to try to be a difference maker, just not the kind he envisions.

    Blues fan here. Hellebuyck isn't used to seeing the intensity of the Blues push to the net. The Blues are like junk yard dogs and only know to keep hammering the puck toward the net. There is the widely known struggle Hellebuyck has while screened and the Blues are taking advantage of that (as do all other teams). Hope the Blues win Wednesday then come home to put it away. Much respect for the Jets and Conner Hellebuyck! ❤

    Might have more to do with the Jets being a team built for the regular season and not the playoffs. All that speed and skill gets greatly neutralized when everybody is finishing their checks and keeping tight defensive assignments.

    You picked the Blues? After all the crap you said at the trade deadline? As a reminder, you gave them an F and refused to even talk about the team. (COUGH, COUGH, FOWLER, COUGH). Regarding Hellebuyck, I think this is a group effort. The defense for the Jets is also an issue. Blues crash the net, and the Jets defense looks lost. 2nd and 4th goals not Hellebuyck's fault. Screened by Morissey on one and the other hit Pionk in the ass and went in. It is a team issue, dude, but let's see what happens in Game 5. Blues have to win a game in Manitoba. They have not done that yet.

    I predict the Jets will lose this series and Hellebuyck will request a trade. Whether this is his fault or not, he’s not going to be buying into this system much longer
