what kind of coach would be best for canuck's going forward? management have to be extra created on both coaches and players moving on. hopefully with less drama.
As long as this team has the ownership it does, we are screwed. Canucks will be hideous as ling as the owners remain in place. Worst run team in the NHL.
Has any team ever had a bigger and harder fall from grace? 6 all stars, won division, coach of year, Norris winner, multiple career years for players on the team.

It can’t be a coincidence that as soon as Sullivan became available, Tocc announces his decision. I think Canucks asked Tocc to make a decision by today because they want in on Sullivan. Usually when u push ppl to make a decision, the answer is very likely a ‘No’.
I think the Pittsburgh connection would help the Canucks lure Sullivan in. They won Cup(s) together as Penguins…

How can you not like Rick as a person! But he has some shortcomings as a coach that hamstrung this team – too focused on defence that took all of the offensive stride out of the group – the stats tell the whole story: shots on goal 31; high danger chances for 30; shots per game 30; goals for 23 ; x goals for/60 -31!
Let's hope the accusations from Aquamans kids flames up again and he's forced to sell due to the controversy and a long prison sentence follows.
He hates the media too. Always saying how van twists things around and he has to be careful with what he says.
Absolutely brutal. I dont even know what to say about this. So many people failed or quit on this franchise this year.. Basically everyone but the captain has lost an incredible amount of respect in my eyes.

Tocc unable to take to take players to next level. In fact destroyed talents of players.
Patrick very biased. Tocc did a bad job. Adam made the team better defensively.
Tocc poor at managing people.
Tocc poor coach. Good at smoozing press. Bad record.

The most important factor in a coach's dedication to a team is whether or not he likes the make up of that team. In this case, I highly doubt it. I think PA did a poor job of providing him with the kind of players he likes, while at the same time removing the ones we did have. (Miller, Zad, Suter, Boeser, Cole etc). He probably knows that Hughes is out in 2 years and doesn't think the Canucks can get it done in that time. So byeeeee
