You can’t seriously be bringing up Boudreaux as what the Canucks need right now in a coach. What plagued this season was poor management and private information somehow getting leaked out creating this dark cloud around the team… And who was there to comment on the drama each and every time, that fat ball Bruce. He kept running his mouth long after being our coach because he wanted attention. It’s a goddamn shame that Tocchet is leaving because while it may not have benefited Petey, it helped literally everyone else’s game get better
How do coaches such as Rick Tocchet, John Tortarella, Dallas Eakin get coaching jobs while all the while they have more losing seasons than winning? Incredible
Canucks will be garbage for 10k yrs and when its finally time to win the CUP there wont be no fans , no life . just a team solo to celebrate.

This team needs a proper rebuild. I believe this goes all the way back to Mike Gillis' final years with the Luongo contract and trade fiasco, which created a broken team that Benning inherited and foolishly thought they could just fix it with duct tape, hope and a chequebook. Year over year, it's the same problems that prevents them from building and holding a competitive team together.
Good trade Hughes this year EP40 and Demko lets get this rebuild started
Tocchet is one of the few coaches who have left voluntarily and not left because he was fired.

Happy he left. Ownership is the biggest joke of the league for being frugal. Management bullied him in to staying. Additionally JT allegedly broke his door and threw an iPad at him. If I was in his position I would have left this gongshow during the season

Management needs a change, they had their chance with no big results. Tocchet has been a good coach for us, a players coach.
Petterson is a big disappointment, he was paid way too much. You’ll again see a mediocre team next season. I’m done with the management.

If Tochett is gone, that also indirectly means Quinn Hughes is gone. Yeah not 100%, but a good 70-80% chance. 😭
Tochett is a Cup winning PLAYER. Not just any player, but a top scorer who was also a strong physical presence. This guy knows the game. Ownership don't even know what they are lossing until after they lost it.
All this because Aquaman is too cheap to build a training facility. Canucks will literally be the only NHL team that doesn't have one. Sell the team!

Being respected is cool… but every team he' has coached the offense takes steps backwards. He's a defensive style position coach and canucks weren't even that great defensively. By most metrics and stat sites they were league average or below league average. So if your not a top 10 defensive team and now your not even a top 20 offensive team. What's tocchets purpose. He's a losing coach for the most part overall career wise. Not upset at all about him leaving. We need someone between a tocchet style and a budreau style.
Goodbye Canucks. Aquilini, you have to lay off the entire organization, the people way overpaid at Rogers Arena while doing nothing
