Cozens crosschecks on Tavares – Tough Call Review

Dylan Cozens is just doing what every other player does in a board battle: repeatedly cross checking his opponent in the ribs.

  1. Cozens was actually trying to hurt Tavares, that’s obvious! When you repeatedly cross-check an opponent that many times, how is that not a double minor?

  2. People often tolerate this stuff with comments about how playoff hockey is tougher. But there's a difference between "a tougher game because players are playing harder" and "a tougher game because the refs' relax the rules." We don't need the latter.

  3. Run around hockey all night by the Sens. Then you get people mewling about a Domi cheap shot wondering what Gaudette did to deserve it…SMH. Do the cute spear in the face that Laughton got by some border line NHL guy whose not going to be in the NHL long enough for anyone to remember his name…I've forgotten it already
