OK Guys.. It’s time to take a look at the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Washington Capitals.. The Habs were winning this game by a score of 2-1 in the third period.. But Tom Wilson decided to take matters into his own hands and he delivered a hit to Alexandre Carrier that will probably go down in history. Let’s talk about it.

Got to love how Wilson is affecting many facets of the game while Anderson is just trying to taunt Wilson into getting off the ice. And people think Wilson’s just a goon?
The refs cannot call the game. Habs need to make sure Wilson doesn’t make it to the next series. You live by the sword, you die by the sword.

Martin St Louis missing experience and he did some bad calls. He should’ve already brought some toughness into the lineup and fucking yell at them to play with their fucking hearts and not with their fucking dicks in their hands, I understand that he was a small guy and he’s very arrogant for that because he never made the draft to NHL he work hard to play in the NHL but yet to work hard to become who he is but he made a bad call and he’s still has too much pride cause he doesn’t like big guys you see always cherish the smaller guys and the Canadians I know because I’m here and I see the practice. I see how he explains everything the Caufield the Hudson and the Suzuki’s.and company… should have more bodies that moment that guy hit carrier. I would’ve sent my guy to pound him. I don’t care be suspended, but this is what I would’ve done like this. They all know.
I completely agree with you on the Wilson hit. Sucks for us, and especially Carrier hope he's alright, but like you said, that's just a big – and clean – playoff hit. Had his arms tucked down, he's just a big guy and if the situation was reversed, we'd be calling it the best hit of the playoffs so far. I've honestly been pretty embarrassed as a Habs fan by the amount of people loosing their minds over it and saying it was dirty. This is what playoff hockey is all about and it's why we all love the sport. You can't complain about the league getting soft, then turn around and complain about there not being a penalty just because it was a big hit that shifted the momentum. That was a tough one for us, we'll just have to pick ourselves back up and give it right back to 'em in game 5

If Anderson or Xhekaj gave that hit, it was an easy 5 minutes and game misconduct.

The rest of the league only cries about Tm Wilson because they have no answer for Tom Wilson.

The officiating in this series has been brutal. Habs have kept the games to one goal difference against what is supposed to be a better team in spite of the lopsided refs. They will be a better team next season!
Caps fan. I disagree in feeling like it hasn’t been close at all. Not being cocky, to me it’s felt like we’ve dominated physically and the score has never been a concern. It’s not so much a matter of if but more so when and who. I do agree it’s been very fun, and that was a brutal hit though. Really swung momentum for us to coast home to an easy win.
Montreal are lucky Fehervary is out. He's another big bopper who likes to deal out the punishment.

What should Wilson have done? Not targetting the head ? How about that ?
