  1. Excellent call keeping the team in California. Rather than spend more time in the air.

Keep that strategy going forward and we will go deep.

Less travel means more energized players. Even if it means 2 or 3 extra days in a hotel. Bond. Practice. Rinse . Repeat. Less travel. Go Knobber

  2. OUT: Frederic, Kane, Stecher, Ekholm, & Kulak may take a day off. Have had some problems thru the season in Goal (sv% 19th) on D, & Scoring (shot% 26th), PK (16th). So of the 16 playoff teams, we will have to pick it up…. or improve personnel for next yr. jJackson removed the PK, speed & youth from last yr to go w slower/older… may work.

  3. Like another commenter said, for Kane what will another 2 days do. They should get him and Fredric in asap. Game 1 is not a throw away game but you need to get these guys in and feel it. They didn't get any warm up games so use game 1 and get them going. Dont wait until game 2 or 3 so you can realize you need to rethink something. This is the playoffs and no matter how good they are they need to play. Kane played injured last year and is supposed to be feeling better now. And now how is Kulak supposed to see the birth of his kid they fly to la. Will be rough….now im getting a little concerned.

  4. I have watched every NHL playoff game played to date and I can say that in several games the key to victory was good GOALIE play. Blackwood is 1 example.πŸ˜‡ How good is the Oilers goalie? Any comments?😜

  5. Not the right coach. McDavid carried them last year even with Knoblauch's coaching. Really Connor Brown on the top line! Tell me another team he would even make their lineup? Kings in 5. Poor Management and Coaching. Holloway would be the # 3 forward on this team and Broberg top #2 d. Way to go Oilers.
