Leon Draisaitl does drive forward on Anze Kopitar leading to an Evan Bouchard power play goal. That battle is fine. It’s the wrap of the arm that may ruffle some feathers. Does he hold on long enough in real time for it to qualify as a hold? I’m either way.

Love your videos – great content – you could make this same video 100× with the way the playoffs is called
no hold …. unless he was required to release his stick ?
Yeah, people are acting like he just held him up the whole time. Like, why would we say Kopitar was not holding Leon up from getting to the net? But then at the last moment where Anze tries to step more sideways and get around, that little hold looks like a little extra. With the puck in possession of the Oil, it makes it less like Leon trying to get to the net and more him preventing Anze from getting out. But for the first several seconds, you could argue for either guy being blocked–hence, no one is.
Im watching game 4 of the Oilers vs Kings right now. Not even 7 minutes in and McDavid is tripped with no call. Do a video on that. Kings literally have been getting the benefit of the doubt this entire series, hence why they thought the Oilers goal was going to be overturned (Kane goal). They (Kings) are used to being favored
8:52 of the 1st period in Game 4. McDavid is slashed, no call.
Don’t forget this is the playoffs. The rule book is very dynamic.
If this is a penalty then the football tackle of Hartman in the Wild vs Vegas game should be a suspension.
Drai’s got both his hands on his own stick as he’s jockeying for position. There’s no hold and no penalty. The title is super misleading.
Not enough there.
Sometimes in frame to frame slowmotion you see more than there actual was because you forget the context. A complete usual battle for position here its more like: when you search long enough you will find something
