  1. The only thing I find alarming about this update is that the Canucks haven't told Tocchet to pound sand. I quite honestly do not want the guy back… I've never wanted him back. When they announced that they weren't exercising their option, I hoped that meant they weren't interested in re-signing him at all, and we were done with the guy. He's not a good coach.

I would definitely prefer to keep Hughes, but ultimately that will depend on if they can get Luke & Jack, and I'm not sure they can.

Frankly, I think it IS a good news story that they haven't caved to Willander. He doesn't want to sign, then trade him for someone who can play now & who's proven himself.

  2. Lol, pretty sure I heard the not yet existent Vancouver PWHL teams has a practice facility

This erra of the Canucks is very sad.

  3. If I saw one or more of Bieksa, Burrows, or the Sedins in an actual coaching role, my anxiety would be eased. The NHL just seems to recycle coaches over and over. I know they may not have enough experience to be a head coach, but to see one or more on the bench would be great.

  4. After this year and realizing that it's over for this core and being disappointed for all these decades… I'm moving on emotionally!

  5. Quinn Hughes is already gone no chance he stays any longer than he has too. He has no connection to Vancouver and no reason to stay. They are entering a rebuild and have no reason to keep him either.

  6. I think it is a waste of time thinking that because Quinn Hughes really like’s Tocchet that Hughes would likely resign with Vancouver when the time comes. Quinn Hughes will be going to play with his brothers in New Jersey. He is not driven by money. He will get what he wants. And it may not be as high as everyone thinks. He is driven by family. Good for him. Not by his “ I like Tocchet “. Not by EP 40 sticking around. By family. I have been saying this for the last couple of years when it first became known how close the brothers are. Just wait. You will see.
