Wild on 7th – Episode #105: VGK GAME 4 Recap – Create An Expectation to Win

No Sunday scaries here on the Game 4 Recap! Ryan Carter and John King are joined by Wild Radio host Joe O’Donnell for a recap of Round 1 Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The guys break down the playoff narratives, talk about having the expectation to win, how the Minnesota fan base doesn’t know what that means yet, and how WE ALL NEED TO BREAK THE MOLD. They also lean into the truths that are all right in front of us, that history doesn’t matter in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, that Marcus Foligno deletes people, that Trenin is stepping up big, Decausemaker is crushing the anthems, and that we need to be done with the Minnesota sports mentality. These guys are going to prove it.

  1. The family and I were at the game. Great atmosphere by all the fans but we have to play better than the refs, ref. I felt we looked off most of the game compared to the first 3 and we still kept it close. What I noticed more in this game was how hard it was for the team to do the little things right which in the end cost us.

In the end it’s still a loss. All the pressure is back on the wild to move on play harder, faster and better in game 5.

    Go Wild!

  2. Foligno's hit on McNabb is definitely a series changer for any of the forwards, but McNabb is the toughest d-man on the team. I don't think it will have any effect on him.

  3. Good talk, but man John just let Ryan talk. You don’t need to interrupt him every time he talks. Makes it really hard to watch.

  4. They definitely chose their hard this time. That was a must win game, another opportunity missed to finally climb out of the first round. Energy and intensity were too low.

  5. RE: Zeev. How many times has he been left out on an island by Bogo? Bogo is not the guy that should be pinching and leaving newbie Zeev back alone. If anyone should be pinching, it's Zeev. There's nothing to worry about with Zeev. All the rubes yelling "Shoot" during the power play are the same rubes that try to start the wave at the game.

  6. Vegas fan here. Cassidy butchers his own players’ names. 😂😂😂. And agree on Moose. The dude is a machine. Absolutely love his game. And back to Cassidy, he plain and simply believes in his team. That’s what good coaches do. And great show! We’ve got ourselves a series. Cheers!

  7. Last game I knew VGK’s would make their push. Now boys you have to hit the ice in Vegas Tuesday foot on the gas move your legs tape to tape🏒🥅I and so many others believe you can. 2 wins. Go Wild Go🏒🥅

  8. 1:12:09 Yep! I think now it all comes down to pressure and mistakes. Who has the better sound structure. Vegas are talented so keep them skating backwards. Wild defensemen have to be the difference
