To be honest I see the wild movement through the air happening because he was trying to avoid getting hit knee on knee with his left leg. That combined with the little tap on the right skate at a high speed makes it look way more dramatic. Not sure how people expect Stutzle to be able to stay on his feet in this situation, or fall less dramatically without risking an injury.
Yup, looks like a trip on the replay. Not mad about that call. I don’t think the refs have been calling phantom penalties in this series, but it is hard to predict which infractions are going to be called.
Stutzle moves his right skate all the way over so that it makes contact with Lorentz' skate, spurring on the triple salchow. I expect this was both to avoid a knee-on-knee, and for maximum rotation in the air.
For me I see both players move their skate into the exact same space at the same time, neither instigate the trip so it should be incidental contact therefore NOT a penalty!

Olympic quality dive 🤿💀
Sure, could be a trip, but also 2 to Stutzle for DIVING. DIVING. DIVING!!!!! Come on, seriously. This is Stutzle we're talking about here.
Honestly they’ve gotta start calling the embellishment, this is getting bad. Call the trip too, sure, but cmon. Timmy can’t keep getting away with it
The problem is , this was a penalty, but happens to marner. No penalty
Gold medallist Tim Stutzle
I'd give 2 for trip, and 2 for diving.

They don’t even make contact 😂😂😂
Lorentz – 2 mins for tripping, Stutzle – 2 mins for embellishment.
Man tried to not get hit and caused that. Self inflicted
