Lol they both catch the same way lol that's a bad look for you
Hell no gtf gotta here
This is why I laugh at all those that complain we didn't take Sloth or Hughes. Because most of the fans were mad on that day we skipped Zadina for KK. Same with Slaf those pointing at Cooley this year wanted Wright.
Still can’t believe we choose this guy over Quinn Hughes
I feel for the guy. He never had a good NHL coach. Might be too late at this point though
Why would Zadina say he would "fill the net with pucks" as a threat to teams that did not pick him ahead of Detroit's selection. He is to the Wings as Nail Yakapov is to the Oilers.
Zadina turning out to be a bust and Rasmussen being very meh certainly set back the Wings rebuild. Zadina simply doesn’t process the game at NHL speed. He was constantly a second late to the loose puck, a second late to make a pass, a second late to take the shot. His shot wasn’t very good either – not accurate and not quick or hard. So he never came close to delivering on the promise he made when those teams passed on him to fill the opponent’s net with pucks.
Pass
Honestly, with Holland getting Veleno and Berggren it would have been better if he just kept Tatar. Total waste of an otherwise good trade.
He really isn't very good.
Zadina is always a bunch of excuses. He spoke out against them before too. They did rush him, but they also gave him plenty of opportunities to develop and get back on track. Note how Yzerman kept Rasmussen when he found a new niche on the bottom 6. Zadina couldn't figure out a niche and blames everyone else.
Ken hollands biggest bust
Holland was/is one of the worst gms after the introduction of the salary cap
He is not good. I hope the wings would never take him back.
Watch him get a pro tryout with Boston and then click with Zacha and Pastrnak. He can only succeed with good players around him. Back to Detroit? No thanks.
A friend of mine wrote out a list of Holland draft picks over the course of 6 years. Also including all the players who we missed in each round. When comparing Holland’s last 6 years with Yzerman’s first 6, it’s night and day. Yzerplan is wearing on a lot of wings plans but I’ll tell you, the prospect pool is one of the top in the league. Never had that for a moment with Holland.
