  1. I was wrong about Toronto. The Leafs have shown themselves to be tough and are standing up to the physicality of Ottawa. I predicted the Sens in 6, but that prediction is not looking too good right now.

  2. Ottawa is a very well coached team. Much closer in game 2…leafs need to be much better then they have been even though they are up 2-0

  3. I think I am the only Leafs fan that wants the Leafs to start Woll for the next game. If the Leafs want to make a deep run they are going to need two goalies. I say give Stolarz a rest game, get Woll engaged in these playoffs. Who knows maybe a different look in net throws off the sens.

  4. Leafs dominated the 1st period then proceeded to get dominated for the rest of the game by OTT. Even in overtime they were passengers.

Toronto can easily lose this series if that continues.

  5. I love seeing goalies stand up for themselves. Belfour was my favorite goalie of all time and he would end you if you got into his net… Stolly with a clean body check there lol

  6. It's going to be Leaf's and Florida for the next round with Florida winning the series with Marchand OT winner in Game 7 (I am predicting**).

  7. I agree, Do or Die for Ottawa at home especially game 3, this isn't a team that will come back from 3-1

  8. How’s winning (sweeping) the regular season series working out for Ottawa so far? I heard this said many times: winning games in the regular season against Leafs is their Stanley Cup. Looks like it. Toronto is capable of playing much better they just stop trying after building a two or three goal lead. Saving their energy for the next round. The Sens aren’t close to the Leafs. I said before the series started that the only way the Sens wins series is if Toronto brings four of their worst games of the year. They didn’t play their best and still won. You have to think Toronto will pick up at least one more win in Ottawa before returning home. Ottawa doesn’t stand a chance without a Toronto implosion. Which won’t happen with Berube directing the team in a no nonsense manner. Keefe and weak goaltending made them nervous. Stloarz isn’t going to start playing bad. He has a higher level.

  9. I thought you had to actually shoot the puck for a highstick to be negated as a follow through???

  10. You failed to mention that the leafs blocked 32 shots compared to Ottawa’s 6, I know it’s not the main reason they won just find interesting that it was so lopsided.

  11. The Leafs finished first in the regular season so normally they have the advantage percentage wise. That said I think the Sens played well all year against the Leafs and the second game – overtime is always a crapshoot so it could easily be 1-1. We'll see what happens in Ottawa.

  12. It's weird. The Leafs haven't yet played what I consider to be their 'A' game, but are up 2-0 anyway. They better be more dialed in when they're in Ottawa. No question that goaltending has been the weak link in the Matthews era & Stolarz has been absolutely solid so far. Curious to see what happens in game 3.

  13. This is the 11th time — first since 2002 — that the Maple Leafs grabbed a 2-0 series lead by winning Games 1 and 2 on home ice. In the previous 10 instances, Toronto went on to win the series. And there's this: Ottawa has never won a series when trailing 2-0.
