The Edmonton Oilers claimed ten year veteran NHL winger Kasperi Kapanen off of waivers from the St.Louis Blues Tuesday afternoon. Kapanen, a former first round pick has struggled to find consistency as a point producer in the NHL and may only be reinforcements for the Oilers bottom six.
