Adams moving to president of operations , new GM coming in at some point. They are waiting for firings and playoffs to end and will add a new assistant coach or 2 on the bench

The owner is the problem, and Adams has been (subtly) telling us that. How many times has Adams said he is in regular contact with Terry? Some contact here and there, sure, but it sounds like it is daily contact. What in the world is Pegula going to say that will move the needle for this team? I doubt Adams is contacting Pegula because he wants to, I'm sure he has to do so. Pegula is a hockey fan, not a hockey guy that has built a career in the industry and knows the in's and out's of the business. The Pegulas wanted to be heard by their hockey people, but I think we've seen that they may need to re-think that position. Move on from Adams? Sure, but the same person that hired him will be choosing the replacement.
This isn’t a 10 and under youth team. This is a team of grown ass men.
They don’t listen to their coach. They didn’t listen to the coach before him. They didn’t listen to the coach before him or the coach before him or the coach before him.
They don’t work hard they don’t know what it is to work hard they think they’re working hard and they’re not even close
They’re afraid of being called out or shunned for trying to hold each other accountable so they don’t even try
Paul says a lot of obvious things … That being said I don’t think it matters that Adams takes all the blame he just needs to go. I also don’t know how you expect to trade Samuelson when he’s on an awful contract.
We need a better hockey mind around the entire team. We need a hockey minded team president making key decisions. Lindy needs to be able to bring in smart and adequate coach staff. We need to find a way to trade our picks for solid veteran players and potentially too 6 player and go from there.
Find way to be better. It’s a joke. They’re all getting paid. Cry me a river.

Is it really just inexperience with Kevyn or is it just a guy who makes poor decisions? Putting Levi right into the NHL was stupid. Not signing a vet forward the summer Quinn got hurt was stupid. Never acquiring toughness to protect the kids is stupid. Signing Sammy for 7 years for no reason was stupid. His goalie choices throughout his tenure have mostly been stupid. Drafting the same undersized forward every year with your 1st round pick is stupid. Trading Cozens for an injury prone, more expensive forward was stupid. There are too many dumb moves to chalk up to inexperience.

Team management has been historically terrible.
The Sabres have no direction as a team; you would think Pegula would learn from the Bills when there is a plan.
Sabres need a bigger hockey operations department, filled with people with more experience than Adams.
It's Adams and the owner. And Adams' judgement is suspect.
If Terry Pegula FAILS to replace Kevyn Adams with a PROVEN EXECUTIVE for Director of Hockey Op's, the fans should STOP BUYING/RENEWING (SEASON) TICKETS, and STOP BUYING SABRES MERCHANDISE. Otherwise, they're just enabling MORE of the STUPIDITY!
Crazy take. The Bills continue to make the Pegulas money. Would it be crazy to think that he is keeping the Sabres in the basement so he can write off his losses to reduce his take liabilities with the Bills?

Adams/Ruff taking the blame bc it's true and is a way to sooth the fans. They know the fans have been saying this all season. Adams is incompetent admits it and still has a job…only in Buffalo.
Paul, Pegulas decisions have not made sense for 14 yrs so why start now.
There are 6 RFA to resign on this current roster, if we resign them does that help us ? If we don't resign a couple, most likely we will get draft picks for them. A couple of trades need to happen to shake this team up. (throw in those draft picks ) Will a FA want to come here or will we just feed off the left overs again ?
The Sabres can’t play 3 zone hockey & haven’t for many years. It’s top down mismanagement all the way to the minors.
