  1. Marchment being both an Olympic gold medalist in diving, and being an Oscar awarded actor, while playing hockey is quite impressive.

  2. As an Avs fan, I wanted to make more of the Otter pull, but it really wasn't due to his lack of performance. He was left out to dry. I fully expect a Dallas onslaught on Monday night, it will be critical for the Avs to come out strong, play smart and keep the crowd at bay. This has been an entertaining series to say the least!

  3. Before the game I was telling everyone that the Avs need to shoot the damn puck. Just get the puck on net. Damn did they deliver! The Avs as a whole played a great game. They still have another level they can go and they still have players that can produce. Necas has been a ghost and Makar hasn't had puck luck. If not for Dallas goal-tending the game could have been 10-0. For the Avs to take control of this series in game 5 they need to continue this relentless pressure. They can not give Dallas a chance. Dallas is very good at capitalizing.

  4. How pathetic do you have to be to steal the game puck? Maybe they took it to salve Marchment's wounded ego after getting physically abused like an unwanted ragdoll. But it was likely a prick like Jamie Benn, the head cheap-shot loser. For this alone, I hope the Avalanche can win this series.

  5. I was watching the game and I came to the realization that Dallas misses the veteran presence of Joe Pavelski. A guy who can motivate and will get a goal when you need a goal.

There is far too much talent in the forward group to be this neutered offensively. They need to find the back of the freaking net, or get bounced

  6. Stars are playing like they’re going through the motions. I know it sounds like an excuse, but they really didn’t try this game. They feel like they can win the series like they did last season, which they can’t do.

If I had to guess they gave everything they had games 2 and 3 and took this game off mentally so once they get heiskenen back (probably game 5) they’ll be able to get their mojo back.

  7. Dallas's second most played D man is Codi Ceci ..LMAO good thing they went out and spent the bank on Rantanen. This proves how much they need Hesikanen and Robetson and big time to have ANY chance.

  8. Sadly both my fave teams Dallas and MTL made incredibly STUPID high priced moves getting Rantanen and Laine bot hare one dimensional shooters they do nothing else and if not scoring they are a negative to your team.

  9. I’m soooo glad this was my first ever playoff game! I’ve been to tons of avs games but have never been able to make it to a playoff game. We were bummed we couldn’t make it back to Landy’s first game but wow were we wrong! This was the game to attend! Thanks for your review ā¤

  10. Colorado absolutely did not have it in game 3, and lost in overtime. Dallas didn’t have it last night and they got completely owned. That’s the difference: Colorado has a chance to win on an off night and Dallas, on an off night, is done from puck drop. I think that’s what settles this series.

  11. Marchment’s penalty was not actually elbowing (even though that is what it was called). He hit Makar in the ear with the butt end of his stick, intentionally. He has been a dirty little rat all series.

  12. Colorado played their hearts out last night…because they had to! Dallas had owned them in game 3 – and outplayed them at the end of/OT in game 2, so if we had any hope of staying in the series we needed the win last night. The fact that it turned out to be such a special night for Landy and the team and the fans just makes it all the better. As a fan, I know I’m not the only one who was breathing a sigh of relief because not only were we finally playing like I know we’re capable of playing, but we also managed to do it without passing the puck 547 times before taking a shot! Looking forward to the next one…although I wouldn’t mind it if Marchment got sick and had to miss it; you were spot on about Colorado’s feelings about him, Shannon.

  13. If it was feasible for the Avs to play like this every game, no one could stop them from hoisting the cup. As long as they can stay level headed and just play avalanche hockey they will. Not. Lose

  14. I'll say this about Landy, as a Wild fan who's seen this guy absolutely rip my team apart.
If Brock Nelson was a "disappointing" pick up for the Avs, Landeskog just made his acquisition far more dangerous.

  15. I'm glad Shannon, as a Dallas fan, was confident in the Avs winning after the 1st, cuz as an Avs fan I was shitting myself until they pulled Otter to start the 3rd. It just feels like NO lead is safe this post season. It takes 1 defensive lapse, and the other team's back in it. A sold 60 minute effort for the Avs! More of that please!!!

And the Captain, my favorite player, against all odds, is back!!! As a Avs fan, since there have been Avs to root for, I couldn't have dreamed of a scenario like this!

  16. Any Dallas fans calling for Oettingers head were not watching the game. Colorado could have scored alot more in this game. Oettinger was outstanding his defense infront of him looked a step behind all game. Dont care if you're not a Avs fan or not but Gabe scoring you have to cheer for it.

  17. 0 points for Makar, but I swear he could've had 5 goals this game. He looked so dangerous basically every time he touched the puck.

  18. This game was going to go this way. Game 3 COL although at some moment they were agro aggressive, they mostly played too passive. They couldn’t get into the Stars zone half the time. Although it could have gone both ways if not for Issa and Mikko, game 3 COL kinda got kicked in the mouth. It wasn’t their best. Here in this game there was more urgency for the Avs and that’s how they played. It wasn’t a must win game but they amp’d up the urgency and it showed. DAL really got kicked in the mouth here. I hope they can reset.

  19. why is it when people say a series should go 7, everyone panics when either way when one team wins? Each game should be different or else it would be boring. Each game one team is going to rise over the other and then raise it again for the next game. Its about bounces and weird plays, things not expected, mistakes when teams are this close. Its all fun and games until game 7.

  20. I'm a Stars fan, but that comment about "Dallas shouldn't have touched the "game puck" because they didn't touch it all night" made me laugh. Let's be real here, the Stars have been so uneven during this season. They start the year and only Duchene, Marchment and Seguin can do anything with the puck. Then the rest of the guys start up after about a month into the season and then they end the season, not with a thud, but with a splat, losing their last seven games. This is not a Stanley Cup winning team. And as we have watched this playoff progress, it is obvious that the Avalanche are the better team by far and away. Two squeakers where the Stars got lucky or this series is already over.
I was thrilled that Landeskog was able to play and then get a goal and an assist. That was fantastic. Yes, I would love to see the Stars win another Cup, but maybe, just maybe if the Avalanche can kick them around enough, maybe we can look back on this and say, "This was the series loss that stung the Stars and made them a Cup winner down the road. They sure aren't now.

  21. Dallas taking game puck at end of game is like Matt Duchene not wanting to go through a rebuild. Its dumb and both of them suck.

  22. Hockey guy this stuff randomly showed up in my feed, and your videos are pretty fire, keep it up
