I don't recall Lundquist giving up after his best friend Zuccarello was traded. He was still a professional and he tried his best every single game. Mika and Kreider, just to name two, gave up this season. They bailed on the fans, their teammates and themselves.
Jon, no he's not the guy to lead this team to the Cup. His energy, personality and self-expression are all just too depressive. The guy barely musters the energy to speak at a volume that's audible. 😏
All I heard from Mika was excuses. No accountability, no promising comments about how he's going to train hard this summer and make next year a great year.
Kreider and Schneider playing through their injuries REALLY hurt the team. I think you're right, Jon – management should've intervened, saved them from themselves and replaced them with healthy guys ready to play.
Zibanajad couldn't even talk about Sam Rosen without making me skeptical.

When you sign a large contract, there is an agreement between the two parties that you will do everything you can to honour the terms of it That means you perform at an $8.5 million level.His comments are a kick in the teeth for his teammates , the organisation and the fans.
He is effectively saying it doesn't matter about my performance I've signed a contract and any attempt to make me justify it is irrelevant.
His fragile mindset was in direct correlation with the team's ability to fold at the drop of a hat.
He pathetically took no responsibility for his dismal performances and is the epitome of a fair weather player who disappears in the playoffs when the pressure/physicality ramps up.
If he stays next year what he does on the ice is what matters, nothing else
I personally would look to trade him as he is not the leader this team so desperately needs.
Mika needs a new place to play. I do believe N.Y. fans wouldn't mind that one bit. Blaming the management for him sucking on the ice. Wow. Go be a Rockstar Mika…seems that's what you want.

Mika and Kreider are good players but more of compliment pieces to a team rather than pillars/leaders. They have to go. I don't believe there's malice on their end but they act as gatekeepers and unintentionally create a toxic mindset that prevents the team from breaking through to the next level
Mika should get the benefit of the doubt going into next season (we kind of have no choice but to support him) he did have a good last game or 2 and better overall when miller came aboard, so hopefully a new coach and a reset can help
Thank God, he’s not in the military and active duty. If one of his team would’ve got killed he probably would’ve dropped his gun and surrendered.

I said it all along. It was Chris Krieder, Zabby and Adam Fox. They were the weeders of this downfall of the New York Rangers this season, even with foxes last comment worried about Trouba being traded. Get rid of these three clowns at least with fox. We would get a shit load of picks & players
I believe it's time to find away to move Zibanejad .it just seems his heart ,and head isn't into it .if your not excited to put on a Ranger jersey and skate your ass off for the fans and one of the original teams .time to go .
He needs to be moved no matter what or how hard. He’s going to be a cancer in locker room. He was signed to a very nice contract as top line center if he can’t play center goodbye no young talent should be taken off wing because of Mika not hacking at Center.
I wish We could just get rid of Mika but his contract is such an albatross I doubt anyone will touch it.
