Sam Girard is a defensive liability. It's nice of the Avs to let a little person play defenseman.
The ice was terrible an that does not lend well to Colorado's style of zone exit play. You saw so many players on both sides losing edges on pretty simple cuts.

I think the ice was bad because both teams were tearing it up 10x normal. I could barely keep up just watching them. One of the fastest games I've ever watched.
