Oilers fans will absolutely hate this comment, but fully knowing EDM will face LAK in the 1st round, its almost as if Nurse knew that potentially injuring a player like Byfield would benefit EDM for that playoff run.. Given how Byfield was fully unsuspecting (no one should ever suspect getting their heads slammed into the ice when already in an incredibly vulnerable position, and no malicious act was made before hand on his part), head/neck injury is absolutely an elevated risk here and I feel like Nurse fully knew that. Gutless play by Nurse, he won't get much if anything, but that was gross.

Hartman ended up at 8 games, suspect that Nurse would be looking at 6 games under normal circumstances, but with only one regular season game remaining, bet he get two games so he ends up missing a playoff game. He deserves more than he is going to get

This is bad, but a similar play happened last year with Montour and Kucherov, and it led to zero supplemental discipline. I expect the same here.
