Episode 114: The Arber Xhekaj Effect?

In this episode, we discuss…

Regular season Josh Anderson VS Playoff Josh Anderson

When was the last time both teams in the same game, of the same playoff series, lost their number 1 goalies?!
Samuel Montembeault and Logan Thompson were both hurt in game 3 and left the game. Currently, there is not update on their status for game 4. We might be seeing a Dobes VS Lindgren battle. Which of the two give their team the edge in goal?

Arber Xhekaj returned to the Habs lineup and added a physical presence. Some (NOT US) have even suggested that he is one of, if not the reason the Habs played the way that they did and won game 3. How much of an effect did Xhekaj’s presence have on the team? Is the Xhekaj effect real or is it blown out of proportion?

Question: Do you attribute the Habs game 3 win because of the Bell Centre crowd, or because of the Xhekaj effect, or both?

  1. Sorry Dave. The Xhekaj effect was predicted and happed as predicted. A 3 game rookie doesn't slew foot a Wilson without knowing what 72 said before the game. This team is entirely different with 72 in the line up.
