At what point does Barkey get a look? I figure if they move on from Brink in a trade Barkey could be next man up
As far as Jett needing to be a top 9 forward, remember that the Flyers developed Coots as a floater between the fourth and third line for years. Might be a good spot for Jett to ease him into the NHL playstyle rather than send him to play on one of the worst CHL teams for another year. I don’t think either move is wrong though. I just think that the two way types that already have the physical attributes tend to develop well on those lower lines.
Personally The dips which occurred in Carter Hart’s game I blame on outside emotional issues.
Trading Brink … I also think he is trade bate … but the line was just so damn good this past year … hate to break them up …
The "elephant in the room" that nobody wants to talk about is that ALL 3 FLYERS GOALIES BLOW! I don't care if we had 20 picks in the first 2 rounds – what good is it when ALL 3 FLYERS GOALIES BLOW?
