Could have happened, doesn't matter. It didn't happen. Leafs are up and they're a team that constantly found ways to win games this season, even when they weren’t the better team that night.

I agree with you 100 %. Nylander seemed to be somewhere else during the game. The only other criticism I might be able to raise is, "What has happened to Pappi's shot?" since he came back from Europe. He has an extraordinary number of posts and an underwhelming number of goals. Still a really good player, but not what he had been.

As a habs fan I literally never hate on the leafs but I always have leafs fan coming up and talking bad about the habs when I’m wearing a jersey…like we’ve played each other in the playoffs once in the last 30 years why hate…
This is fine. We get to go back home. We are less cold going into Rd 2. That was a great game. Probably winnable if giving Tavares a new concussion when he didn’t have the puck was actually a penalty. Ottawa was desperate and worked hard and it paid off. Looking forward to Monday

Sens fan here. 3 of the games have gone to OT. It's been a much closer series than the Wins and Losses indicate. I mean, you are probably going to win this series. But shouldn't you have crushed us? I don't see Toronto going past the second round with how they are playing.
It’s going to be two full days of pure nonsense from over-the-top Leafs fans and the always ridiculous Toronto media. They’ll be desperate for clicks and views, saying the most outrageous things they can think of. That’s why being a Maple Leafs fan isn’t easy — you pretty much have to tune out all the noise. Honestly, I have no idea what the Toronto media would even do if the Leafs ever won a Stanley Cup. Let’s be real: the media, YouTubers, and a certain section of the fanbase thrive on disappointment. It’s better for business — it always has been.
The Sens have the opportunity to do the funniest thing
The officiating has been terrible all year for all teams. Fans on both sides will argue the Zub hit.
End of the day, Leafs had 4 mins of PP and spent almost all of it in the Sens’ zone and couldn’t score.
You can sit here on “what ifs”, but it’s the same as saying, “if the Sens had one more bounce or the puck was 1/2” another way, the series would be Sens 3-1”.
