  1. The players obviously felt like management wasn’t communicating with them and that caused huge problems which isn’t surprising considering this organization doesn’t communicate with fans AT ALL. There’s no reciprocal relationship- it’s a pure business transaction to Drury and it sucks. Other teams do not treat their fans this way. I’m glad it came
Back to bite him in the ass

  2. Please no to Q. I'm tired of these journeymen coaches. Jeff Halpern could be an interesting coaching candidate if TBL would let him go.

  3. I thought you knew hockey Boomer? How long you want to give K-Poke to stop making big turnovers Every Game??Kreids/Mika are SOFT and you don't win a Cup with players like that. You guys forget Zac Jones who with Schneider were the #1 D-Pair 1st half of season.Zac is the best skilled skater, stickhandler, offensive Defenseman and was #1 TOI when Fox got hurt. You two need to learn hockey!!

  4. Hey boomer you bash trochek?
    Who were his linemates
Captain crossice and the invisible man
Neither one of them broke a sweat getting back on defense.
Captain crossice checked out back in january.
    Trochek was all alone.
Did you hear his comments during the season.
    Be consistent
    They all deserve criticizm

  5. Been a NYR fan since '65 (Original Six) and they, excepting a few seasons, have been recognized as a "soft" team. This years version was not only soft, but hard to watch. Reading Zibanejads' terse response to a contract related question tells much of this team. Player development, or lack of it, is another major failing Kaako, Kravtsov, Anderson, Lundkvist, Chytil, all contributed nothing, while Miller & Lafrienere haven't accomplished very much. WTF? I reckon one cup in 85 years says a lot.

  6. Great commentaryBoom. You guys forgot about Barclay Goodrow. Huge blow to our gritty players going in the corner. KAndre needs to go. He wants more money for terrible season.

  7. Trouba was a Gorton pickup and contract. Probably the only move i disagreed withm he is a great player and what we need on the backend, but not at that cap hit. That type of player needs to make half of what they signed him for. Thats why he had to go.

  8. You can lay the Trouba trade at the feet of Peter Laviolette, who continued to play him like a top pair guy instead of the #6 or #7 that his skill level should have earned him. Same with Lindgren. If those guys are playing 12 minutes a night nobody minds them

  9. The Rangers need to at least make a call to David Carle. He is a masterful coach, and he would have been a fine pro hockey player if not for a rare medical condition he was diagnosed with before he ever played in a game at the University of Denver. He has won two NCAA titles and reached the Frozen Four on two other occasions, and he coached Team USA to two World Junior Championships gold medals. He has an edge to him too. He won't take a back seat to any player.

  10. The problem IS CHRIS DRURY.
His backstabbing and bullying of players was uncalled for and completely unprofessional. I wouldn't want to play for him either. From playing games with Shesterkin's contract offer to demanding that the captain be healthy scratched to leaking no-trade clauses, the guy is a D-BAG! Oh heck, now that Drury was given an extension, I'm done rooting for the Blueshirts until Dirty Drury is gone. Two dozen authentic NYR sweaters going back to 1988 are now on Marketplace. Willing to trade for most any other club including Utah HC.

  11. So much hate for Drury but Laviolette did not use the players he had, he's the coach, he's supposed to mold this team into a contender. He sat young healthy players who want a chance to shine, he played vets who were injured or playing like garbage. He gives minutes to players like K.A. Miller who gives the puck away at the worst times and cost the team goals. Mika has produced more with JT Miller on board, he could turn it around but we need more agressive high energy guys. We need a couple stable defenseman who can calm plays down and move players from the net. Kreider might be able to turn it around without injuries but the cards are onthe table, he's getting older and declining, time to move him while he has some value. Trocheck can turn it around with other team improvements. Get a coach who opens his mouth and makes players accountable, get a coach that can adapt to other teams systems, get a coach that maximize the youth. It can be fixed…

  12. Nah bro, Trouba is trash, as was Goodrow, as is Kreider now. I’m no Drury fan, I hate his guts for trading Buchnevich for no reason, but if you can get rid of an 8 million dollar anchor on defense you do it

  13. There are talks of the Rangers signing Brock Boeser. That's another $8.5+ million AAV on a forward. This team doesn't need another forward. It would be nice because he's scored 40 goals before. They need a lockdown defenseman. This finesse shit on defense needs to go. Not everyone needs to be Adam Fox or Cale Makar.

  14. Ryan McDonagh was a +43 this year and has never had a negative season in his career. Think about that. That man should have never been traded. He only cost a second, fourth, and seventh from Nashville, and Drury went after Soucy.
