We break down the weak goals allowed, the calls for Calvin Pickard, and the sheer disbelief that the Oilers Management (looking at you, Holland and Bowman!) stood pat at the Trade Deadline despite the clear need for reliable goaltending.

How much more pain can this fanbase take?
This loss highlights the devastating impact of perceived poor Roster Management, including the controversial offer sheets and losing players like Broberg and Holloway, which many argue left the team weaker.
Game 3 is now a MUST WIN if the Oilers have any hope of climbing back into this series. The path is incredibly difficult from down 0-2 against a structured team like the Kings.

I canβt believe they didnβt start Pickard after the first game. If they lose the next one itβs over. Early golfing season.
Skinner hasnβt been great, but neither loss is on him. The defence has been abysmal. However, the team needs a shake up and Pickard should start in game 3.
No body should be surprised we need a goalie π
Tuff. All season. Oilers kept games close…… love your vids.
If McDavid stays, he needs to take less so they can buy a better goalie…….
But wait….. HELLYBUCK got KICKED in the blue arena with 2 games in hand…………. Best goalie all season, and kicked………. answer is simple… rest of the team needs to play D and to score to help the goalie. Dude he's facing shots in the slot! With no one to help him.
