I think we all know what EP40's answer would be your question JPat. He would say "Hmmmm"… pause for a many seconds while looking for the Exit sign…. and then some deep, introspective response like "I don't know".
Paterson's "questions" are so stupid. Nah bro.. the 100pt all star player doesn't 'know' he has to be better than 40 points 15 goals….he just doesn't know it. He also needs to take "ownership' .. Paterson needs him to say "This year was all MY fault". I don't give a damn what Tochet says about Petersson.. nobody has ever had a problem with the guy before this crew. Yet Toch loves JT.. a guy that played like garbage this year, a guy that was single handedly losing games for the team with laziness, selfishness and uninterested play…. and a guy that was so toxic that he had to sit at home for 10 games and got traded. And thats the guy Toch loves. Maybe Toch isn't actually a great judge of anything.

Keep asking Petey dumb questions acting like you care. Same dumb questions all designed to put Petey down not to actually get an actual answer. I dont blame Petey for tuning out this year, with the whole JT situation than our terrible media and fans piling on Petey all year. If we move Petey he will be an amazing player and all we will hear is what a terrible move the organization did getting rid of Petey. Fans and media are out of their minds.
if petey cared (what anybody thought/expected of him) he'd take a paycut ('cuz he's way overpaid)…but he doesn't care, he cashed out (& so did his agent who took the team to the cleaners

If Filip Chytil goes by way of LTIR – retirement, next OR any upcoming season, due to the injuries, then this REALLY HAS BEEN a complete disaster for the management team, as the Canucks have been burnt to the ground from 7 All-Stars last season, to ONLY 1 this season. Good luck, Filip !!
EP40 is unlikeable. I love the Canucks, but think Petey is painfully overrated and would love to see him gone. No fun cheering for this goof.
Anybody going to mention they traded a first round pick for a Dman who is no better and is going to cost more than OEL after salary and buyout penalty.
The money has made these players entitled, and non-commital, after they sign the guaranteed contracts. AT LEAST, the league should look at some mediation process that allows for the team to issue a withdrawl of contract, if it's deemed the players are not living / playing up to their end of the deals. As it is now, Pettersson will get $46 MILLIONS DOLLARS over these 4 years, whether or not he puts another ounce of effort into his play. That seems wrong, like tenured school teachers who sit on their butts not caring anymore about their effort or the students. The system is seriously broken.
