Lost electricity at the start of the 3rd period. Switched to Cam Moon on my phone. 32° and my neighbors I’m sure could hear my yells as the boys come back to win. Boys seem to play better in front of Picard. Play him again until he loses. 15 more wins required.

Just make Bouchard a winger and get another defenseman or make him a hybrid. Have him rush more and have a winger drop back and cover for him defensively. Make that a play in the Oiler game plan. Bouchard is a risky defenseman so having a winger cover for him is NOT a step down. Bouchard looks great rushing the puck and getting in deep.
Not bad. I'm really starting to hate the Los Angeles Kings. Not only stole our Wayne Gretzky in August 1988, but still stealing this series. Almost lost but scored 4 goals in the third. It was weird how LA up by only 1 with 10 mins left, drastically changed strategy & started dumping the puck over & over, sitting back & playing strictly defense. LA literally just stopped playing. Handed the game to the Oilers.

Lots of credit to go around. Pickard was solid and reliable the entire night, making timely saves. Bouchard stepped up and had a huge game for the Oilers! The Oilers need him! King's video coach deserves partial credit for the regulation win. Kane was amazing! Klingberg played great!!! McDavid. Hyman. Drai. Nuge. The team as a whole looked much better and snatched an important win. "Hold on Doctor, there's a pulse."
