Have the kings forgot about the past 3 years where Edmonton essentially beat them with their lethal power play? Genuinely one of the most idiotic coaching decisions I've ever seen. Pete Carroll throwing it on the half yard line level dumb. Oilers in 7 – kings will not be able to exorcise these game 3 demons and it will haunt them the rest of the series

I love how the refs took exactly 0.2 seconds deciding whether or not it was Goaltender Interference like “yeah thanks I already saw it from 100 different angles the first time when I said it was a good goal”…
And then, to absolutely no one’s surprise, they score exactly 0.2 seconds into the Powerplay. It genuinely feels like an NHL scripting moment.
What was wrong with 4-4?? I get it if you’re down a goal after that one ok sure but it’s a tie game and that wouldn’t even get overturned during the regular season much less in a critical game like this.
I hope the Kings can bounce back after this but boy does it sting. Could’ve at least given us some quality overtime, the boys were looking so good those last few minutes…

I had them winning the series in nearly all my brackets and I was not even nervous when down 2-0, they have experience being this far behind especially nearly pulling a reverse sweep last year, Edmonton likely just flipped this series , definitely going to 7.

Kings: “LEMME TALK TO YOUR MANAGER!”
Situation room: “Oh yeah let’s just look at the exact same thing again… IT’S A GOAL.”

It is absolutely goalie interference. You absolutely do not challenge that cuz its not worth it and they rarely overturn for it.
The people saying they just reviewed it… they arent looking for goalie interference. You dont just challenge a play and then they comb through the last 5 minutes. You actually challenge for something.

I don't understand the challenge because it was only a tying goal. You still have a chance to win. But giving a PP to the Oilers when they had all the momentum is just stupid.

Anyone with a brain would know that's a bad challenge. There was a 0.1% that the challenge would go through. Your goalie wasn't even nudged a little, plus your own player was pushing the opponent into your own net.
The ref just reviewed the replay themselves and confirmed the goal and you attempt to challenge it. Like actually mental suicide and then dragged your whole team down.

I was at Rogers Place for this game. The place EXPLODED after all of this. Great experience as an Aussie Oilers fan! My voice is gone 😂
