They are getting it vs a far worse team (which they earned) then they've faced in years past.

Matthews doesn't need to score another goal in the playoffs as long as keeps assisting on them. He's playing a powerful 2-way game by making plays happen in the o-zone and disrupting them in the d-zone. And he's a monster at the dot winning over 60% of his faceoffs, including the one that lead to tonight's OT winner. Number of goals cannot measure how strong Matthews has been so far in these playoffs.
1 fluke goal does not make depth scoring.

This is how the Leafs would look facing normal goalies in playoffs past. They had to face Price, Vassy twice, Bob, and Sway, pretty tough to score in those circumstances.

As the 6th defenseman, easily bumped if Hakinpaa was healthy this year, then score + have an assist on both OT goals, is a fairytale story for Benoit.
