It was a frustrating season, but it wasn’t without its peaks. Most notably the youth movement finally arrived and they ALL were impactful. Simon Edvinsson, Albert Johansson, Elmer Soderblom, Marco Kasper as well as the continued growth of Seider and Raymond. DeBrincat also returned to his scoring ways potting 39 goals and Patrick Kane helped him along the way as he roared up the statsheet in the 2nd half of the season. And most notably Todd McLellan provided a spark and Detroit had their franchices BEST ever power play. #LGRW

The PP, DeBrincat, and youth development.
The coaching change and firing uncle fester coach that came way too late is about it. The big numbers of 23, 93, 71, and 88. The promise 77 and 92 showed. 92 should have been 2 c a lot earlier. Two 7 game win streaks. Not much else went right led by another tdl collapse.
Some rumors more coaching changes may be coming for Wings, too (among those that remained from Lalonde).
Having the best powerplay and the worst penalty kill in team history in the same season is something you just have to laugh at
