I think ANY contact in the blue paint should be a 2-minute minor, and deliberate contact a 5-minute major. Today's skaters are much faster than yesterday's, and energy goes like the square of the speed. A 15 percent increase in speed means a 32 percent increase in energy. Only exception would be someone pushed into the crease by the tender's teammate.

Kreider skating full speed, feet first, into the goalie, that's intentional. It's nasty and I still hate it. Kreider got no repercussion (from the league or other players) and that is a bad thing. Personally, he is marked for this.

Price was exciting to watch and had the perfect technique. Won a Calder in juniors, a gold medal in the Olympics and a few individual trophies. But he unfortunately never brought a Cup. But he cashed 10.4M for 8 years…still cashing til 2026. Now I come from a place where Patrick Roy won 2 cups for Montreal so to me merit comes with victory!
