I can understand why he definitely would want his staff composed considering all the times that the leafs had chances and all ended up in failure. Especially when it comes to the first and second round.

The Leafs are playing THE worst team in the playoffs! If they where playing ANY of the other teams this year they would be down 2-0, They still suffer from the same things that got the out early the last 6 or 7 years! No scoring from the big guys! so far goaltending is there only saving grace. Even Ottawa is forcing them to defend in their own end far more time then the spend in the o-zone. The Leafs are a HORRIBLE team!!
I think giving him that look, like he's a jackass & did something wrong in this moment…Is kinda worse then the cheering itself lol… That's why i'm mixed on this…
…Even though I do get the point he thinks it was "a bit much" for the very first goal of the series… I get the leafs havent done crap in forever… Etc etc… I get both sides… Idk.
…It's just… Even if you wanted him to compose himself a little bit more, I think this was a bit much… Maybe talk to him in the intermission or whisper in his ear… But that's just my thought.
Also, somebody else pointed out Berube wasn't super composed after the OT winner last night, even though almost all the same logic would still apply… The series ain't over, the cup ain't won yet, etc etc… So idk…
