  1. If Montreal takes two at home, the advantage goes to Montreal?
    NO SHIT MY GUY!
    😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  2. Great analysis, as usual.
Like MSL said, you can't practice this kind of pressure and "craziness". It's all about learning for them this year and they are indeed learning, and fast! My Habs have great years ahead.

I have to admit, these non penalized crosschecks in Gally's and Caufield's face are incredibly frustrating, because the reffing is so inconsistent.

    Keep up the good work!

  3. Lol so which team do you think is most favoured at home rink by the refs in all nhl history from not calling penalties?
What team has the most penalties when away in all history?
What team has the most penalties in general in history?
What team has the least penalties in general history?

  4. They're the smaller team as well. Montreal will fight until the end but they are a work in progress. You need more than one line to win a 7 game series. It's going to be a big summer for Hughes and Gorton. Better days are ahead for Habs fans!

  5. Montreal management has to realize something that started ages ago: Refs don't call penalties, they balance penalties. That's the tactic Boston used many years, that's the tactic Florida with the Tkatchuk trade and it's what Washington is doing now.
    Montreal needs to get dirtier.

  6. Not a big deal for the Habs goalie…
Only have to defend against the greatest goal scorer of all time.
Plus Ovi is knocking kids around to teach them what playoffs are all about. If he really wanted to hurt one he would have. All those hits were minor.

  7. I got to be honest guys. Caps are up 2-0 so without their third best forward. When Protas comes back it’s only going to get much worse for Montreal. We can all agree the late game heroics have been fun to watch but the habs should have been down 4-1 at the end of the second easily. Monte has been elite and if he goes from elite to just good… then you can expect a quick 4-5 game series.

  8. Yeah no if it wasn’t for the Habs goalie standing on his head the caps win each game by 4-5 goals. They’ve been objectively better for the majority of both games. They’ve Habs played and pushed torwards the end because they have skill, but paired with the Caps goalie playing even better? Yeah no doesn’t look good for Montreal.

  9. Ovi has been great playing in MTL over the years. They love the mojo. Habs likely squeeze one win in MTL, then the series comes back to WSH and Caps win in 5

  10. Amazing analysis! Habs fan here. They’ve already exceed expectations this year so this playoff appearance is a bonus experience for them. Agree on all your points.

  11. Hard not to lose when you can continually cross check your opponent in the face and not get called for it. Bad for hockey.
