The bruins can keep up this charade because bruins fans will keep going to this mediocre excuse of a franchise. Unless the fans realize they are being ripped off and stop the ticket renewals ownership will keep cashing those checks and not changing anything.

More than a decade of poor drafting and development, and NOT getting better. They just keep doing the same things – with same results. Sweeney and Neely were awesome players, but not the guys to run a business/organization. This was evident a long time ago.
This press conference was just dejecting
fire coach – won a cup, fired coach – made the playoffs, traded away basically everyone to bring in a bum ass center, and a decent defenseman.

Ok, so Sweeney tried to move up in 15, but couldn’t get it done. What’s the reason for the other 9 years? Everyone Sweeney has drafted are either traded of sucked. With a few exceptions and I mean “few”.
