You didn't mention him, but probably the best choice would be Joel Quennville who should be considered despite his suspension. Jeff Halpern is Brian Boyle's choice & he spoke very highly of him. Todd Nelson is a great coach & was interim coach of the Oilers for awhile. Ironically, he is noted as a PP guru. I was watching him walk off at a game & wondered if he has been having health problems, because he has lost a lot of weight & his walking was quite labored. He has 5 Calder Cup rings– one as a player, one as assistant coach with Chicago wolves, & 3 as a head coach. Woodcroft, Boudreau, Bylsma– NYET!!!!

I have been a fan since the early sixties, that means I have enjoyed just ONE cup in 62 years !!! That is an embarrassment for any franchise, but it is PUTRID for a New York organization housed in Madison Square Garden !!!!!
We need a Rod Brind'Amor to create an aura in this team. Too bad he is ensconced in Carolina.
