Had to rebuild, nothing worse than being stuck in the middle. They did a good job acquiring a lot of draft picks.

The 2021-22 season will likely be the last for the Arizona Coyotes before relocating to Houston to become the Houston Outlaws and begin play at Toyota Center next season.

It’s rare that a team actually tanks correctly, but the Coyotes are doing a great job at it. They’re probably the favorites to land Wright this year and maybe Bedard next year. Build the team around them and Chychrun and they can be competitive in 5 years.

The coyotes have been middle of the road for far to long. Never down far enough to get those generational draft picks. Never good enough to make a really good run for the cup. I hope they don’t squander this opportunity.
