  1. Was at that game. Vegas passing was horrible. Spacing on offense and defense was not there. And yes as soon as that empty net was made everyone skiddaled out to hit the bus ride home. Almost midnight. Dang

  2. Theodore had an absolutely awful game. He had a couple of turnovers that resulted in goals. I was very disappointed with Vegas' puck-management. Hopefully they can clean that up for the rest of the series.

  3. Really needed the in-depth review of the 3rd period after I fell asleep on my couch before Vegas scored their second.

  4. Wild fan chiming in, good chance this becomes a 3-1 series given that this might be our worst season at home in history. But it is the playoffs, so fellow Wild fans please convince me that I'm wrong haha

  5. The refs are openly rooting for Vegas too, letting literally everything slide except one blatant hold that's impossible to ignore that resulted in the one powerplay. Wild could've had 5 powerplays that game and the fact that Vegas didn't get any like game 1 changed the story of the game. Game 1 was decided off calls. Wild win 5 on 5.

  6. I mean, I know it's highly unlikely to happen again anytime soon, but Vancouver had just shown it is not impossible to come back from down 3 with a minute left. And they still leave.

  7. Boldy and Kaprizov are a scary combination. Hill is going to need to stand on his head to keep these guys off the scoresheet.

  8. The late start time is horrible, but they make it even worse when they waste our time dicking around and don't actually drop the damn puck until 10:15.

  9. I would request a video about broadcast bias. You mention that the announcers in this game were overwhelmingly rooting for Vegas. The ESPN announcers on the Avs vs Dallas game were overwhelmingly Dallas announcers (ACTIVATED!!!). We all know Eddie O's bias's. It is annoying when its a "national" broadcast.

  10. Two things to comment on. First off how is the unbelievable slew foot on Erikson Ek not called. If that was Hartman he'd be suspended the remainder of the playoffs. Second, what's up with the glass in Vegas. I swear I've never seen glass move so much from a hit anywhere else. Are they trying to cushion the blows or just looking to make it seem more dramatic. Small his causes massive rippling in the glass. If be scared as a fan sitting down low.

  11. That punch to the face is the result of the refs not letting them fight it out. Wanna stop those cheap shots from getting worse, let them duke it out.

  12. That broadcast crew was so for Vegas until they knew Vegas wasn’t going to comeback. Ohh incredible game by the Wild blah blah. I just hope we win this series

  13. 8pm is a weird time to start; BS, especially for fans in attendance.
Imagine if they have an ot game. I hope that Hill continues the trend.

  14. Pretty sure that THG mentioned Boldly in a previous video considering players to "watch" and make an impact in the playoffs. Great work Shannon

  15. Vagas has no real fans. Transients and snow birds are just some of the reason this team exists. Of course the big reason is Betting. But just think how the players feel about that. Fans abandon them when they need them most.

  16. Minnesota stepped up and matched Vegas physicality and then some, taking away one of their main advantages. Hill had a couple "for your consideration in choosing the Olympic team" saves before Boldy started the onslaught. I can't blame him on the first two goals, but the next two weren't great. Vegas had their chances and there was some push back, but Gustavsson had a great game.

  17. Coach Cassidy has never fixed the horrible passing leading to turnovers for the knights 90% of the time.
Cassidy is blind to this problem & so is the coaching staff.

  18. You oversimplified the oversimplification.

We absolutely dominated the last 15 minutes of the first period. No one watching that game could reasonably say otherwise.

The first 5 minutes were closer, and Vegas had the better scoring chances outside of Ek’s doorstep chance.

The last 15 minutes of the second was absolutely dominated by Vegas. Almost the entire second half of that period was played in our end with our Wild players just trying to get in shooting lanes and hold down the fort.

Third was a bit more even, but the first part again belonged to Vegas.

But just going by SoG as your barometer of who was dominating doesn’t come close to meeting the eye test.

  19. Sounds like the local broadcast (which I watched because ESPN makes me wanna 🤢) was more impartial than the ESPN announcers. As a VGK fan I was disappointed…it was like the team forgot how to play hockey.

  20. Wasn’t shane hnidy on the broadcast ? He is usually on the vegas team so that could explain it.

  21. I saw a big struggle from Theodore, McNabb, and Smith.

Saad on the other hand looked pretty amazing, as well as Hertl, as he has been since 4N

I expect more from Stone and Eichel. They haven’t been bad but they haven’t had an impact either, they need a spark

  22. I understand why the start time is crappy but as someone from van that lived in Ontario for years it’s just the way she goes. You gotta stay up late to watch them when they play on the west coast

  23. In regards to fans leaving early when losing, this is probably the result when you build a team on the sole promise that theyre winners. When you dont provide, fans leave. Its just the culture Vegas sows
