Stolarz to Grieg : Wassup?
Okay so what I've noticed about TOR vs. OTT in both games is as follows:
1. Leafs blocks shots waaay much more than Sens.
2. At home goal Leafs box out Sens players waaay more efficient than Sens does to Leaf players.
3. Leaf keeps their positions better and both forcheck and backcheck better than Sens.
4. Sens is more sloppy with the puck and the passing than Leaf.
Here are a few factors that needs to be corrected when we turn home to CTC.
Do not come and blame Ullmark on bad play. Stolarz is good because he is covered by the Leaf's D-men and make him see the puck. Our D-men doesn't make it easy for Ullmark to save the puck.

Sens did a good job selling a lot of calls. Leafs have only been at 40% so far. Hoping to see 100% from the blue on Thursday and the end of the sens season on Saturday
Changing the goalie will not fix defensive mistake. And ullmark had games off during the season, but when he started to be in the zone he was for several games in a row. Sens are in the playoff because of Ullmark, lets believe in him. I am sure he will bounce back. Lets go cheer for them in Ottawa ! Go sens go

Honest to god that Batherson play made me sick. It only gets worse on the replay.

The majority of the Sens shots have all been from the outside in both games, but just putting shots on net without traffic in front is just a waste. Unless they can put some pressure on Stolarz this series will be over quickly.
Batherson was an absolute disaster on that shift.
Definitely going to give them confidence last night, they pulled back a game where they started slow and got punished. Really good to see that they can dig themselves out of a hole and change up the game plan as and when needed. There needs to be a win, though, at the CTC. What a complete joke that you guys think that there in the head of the leafs goalie and that he has bad puck control 😂 I wish we had that with are goalie this guy lets goals in the first 10 min of every game 😂 and can never get a save when we need one and with the leads the leafs get all they do is sit back and play D cause they have a goalie they can trust 😂 and for you guys to cry about the goalie slashing and hitting him back after he ran him over the first game 😂 and when Ray emery was out there crushing players we loved it anyways we just need some saves from are goalie in the 1st and we can get back in this series boys LFG 😮 and Tim and Brady have to take over game 3,4 and we win game 5 in Toronto and then we finish the series at home game 6 and stop trusting the stats boys cause when you have 2 goal leads in every game and they just play D 😂😂😂
Lads let’s not dress it up. It was MARGINALLY better than game one but not by much. Terrible start, terrible PK, no big saves when needed, shots not getting anywhere near the net.
We got to overtime through a combination of the leafs taking their foot of the gas and a goal off a skate and one off a massive tip.
There’s a palpable lack of passion, grit, effort and skill. At least compared to the Battle of Ontarios that I remember.
Ullmark’s playoff records 3-10, SV% 846, GAA 3.95 in what world would you start him in a must win game 3.
They're not dominating. Its how the leafs play. You're really getting nothing. But they did play well

Stolarz should not have gotten away with that attack on Grieg. If players can't so much as bump a goalie, they should not be allowed to crosscheck (several times), perform a lumber chop on him and then check him as he went to go by in the crease. If they wanna do that, make them fair game.
Down 1-0 in games, down 2-1 after two, in the playoffs, and you get your first shot on goal 15 minutes into the 3rd period is NOT dominating! The four goals we've scored so far is really just one "good" goal. The puck bounces over Stolarz' stick as he's scooping it into his glove to freeze it giving a freebe, then the good well deserved goal, then a pass across the front of the crease that Carlo played perfectly boxing out that he accidentally kicks into his own net, then Gaudette's tip only happens because he bumped Benoit by the opposite face off circle, causing him to bump into OEL knocking them both off balance, then giving Gaudette all that free ice before either leaf dman has a chance to him up or box him out (which would have happened because the leaf's dmen have done so every shift so far in the series. Generating "shots on goal" and generating good/great "chances" are not always the same thing. How many great saves has Stolarz had to make? Three or four tops. One breakaway on a turnover, and a dozen, no half dozen, no three, no i mean zero two or three on ones. A few three on twos that never resulted in a shot on net, let alone a scoring chance. Methinks the great fun season is soon to end.
Dominated and didn’t have a shot for 17 minutes game time. That is delusion. The leafs are playing a different game when protecting a lead. Leafs more high danger chances. Sens just throw shit on net and pray
You mention that domi’s OT goal was a screened shot on a 2 on 1. It was a 2-4 which makes it worse. Also Benoit was the real reason ullmark couldn’t see that puck. After dropping the puck for max he cuts to the net and jumps in front of ullmark as the shot goes off.

The sens won 27 games at home, but the leafs won 25 on the road which included 8 games on the second of back to back games.
Tim looked dominant all night, overall the team looked really good.
