  1. There is no glory if the greatest challenge is not present.
These athletes from all countries deserve a real competition.
    Everyone must be present, always.
Without this, it is not a competition, but rather, just an arrangement, just a combination.

  2. He went straight from Worlds to tour in Japan then straight to this competition. Poor boy has to be exhausted from his insane season! He is phenomenal though no matter what!!

  3. Устал бедный Илья уже после КП было видно,😢ошибок много,но все равно прекрасен ❤ надеюсь он оставит эти прекрасные проги на следующий сезон 🎉❤

  4. Why didn't they have the team competition in Boston before everyone was burned out and exhausted? Olympic figure skating includes the team competition; Worlds should too.

  5. With admiration. Congratulations : )) The performance isn't totally perfect, but what a boost. The heights of the unique jumps. Ilia has that gift, that something extra. I think all these shows are exhausting. That said : I love this one ! I am not a vampire. Exceptional. Innovative, Improviser. Ilia often finishes her feats or performances on land. A unique style and lovely winks. He has a sense of humor, of derision, wildly charismatic and natural. Hoping that Ilia remains THE world champion that I have admired since long before. Majestic, dazzling, magnetic, fiery, conquering. I love his smile of satisfaction stretched across the ice at the end of the program. LOL. I admire his virtuosity, dexterity, this fluid way of putting missed jumps back on the job, etc. A true great. He will remain in the annals of acrobatic and dance figure skating. A beauty of the fire of gosh. Ilia has a crazy charm. He has everything in him. His evolution has been dazzling, too fast perhaps ? Good luck and best wishes, dear and unique Ilia : ) Bravo & MERCI from Switzerland

  6. He competed at Worlds, then in a week he flew to Japan for the 6 Stars On Ice shows. He also had several media appearances and interviews in Japan and then he had to compete at the World Team Trophy. His schedule was packed these past few weeks. I’m glad he was able to pull it off at this free skate and got 12 points first place for Team USA. 😮‍💨 Ilia said he’s going to take a break from skating. He is suppose to have a show again for Gold on Ice April 27th but that has already been canceled and postponed. He said he’ll return in a better shape for Stars On Ice shows US tour that starts by mid-May. Very proud of Ilia! He had a great season!! 👏👏👏

  7. Wouldn't it be great if the American athletes themselves realized that their gold medals are not as valuable if they won them against only the short Japanese? I don't think it's impossible for the American athletes themselves to start complaining about the lack of real opponents like the Russian athletes. Wouldn't it be great if the Americans themselves started asking for the Russians to return to competitions? What does it feel like to win a gold medal by beating the formidable Russians?

  8. Great job, Ilia! A talent like no other! What a great season! I believe that we are looking at the 2026 Olympic champ AND World champ! Love you, Ilia!

  9. Илья – не робот , он человек , он устал … отдых нужен для энергии … Илья здоровья тебе и удачи … 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

  10. Simply dreadful! I guess he received high 9's for components regardless. Despite some wonderful skaters, the men skating is in a major slump, the whol ethat Nathan Chen was digging for years and now it's just getting worse. There is no more Hanyu, Chan, Fernandez, Uno – you either have this atrocity or the Jason Brown's bullshit. Nothing in between. Adam Him Siao Fa was a big promis last year but this year it all went down the drain. It's tragic really…

  11. Wow indeed. Reminds me of Evgeni Plushenko. Although Evgeni has more elegance but I dare say that Ilia is still young and lots ahead of him. Love to see him perform. And big thanks to the ISU for streaming and posting this otherwise it would not have been possible for me to see all of this

  12. Holy sh*t!!!! The was out of this world. I fall sitting down and this guy is doing a backflip on ice 😂

  13. Well it’s understandable that he’s so tired particularly as he’s been training and attempting 7 quad layout since GPF. But I do have a question bothering me that whether doing a 7-quad layout is really worthy or plausible. I blame that for Ilia not having a single clean free skate this season, which is a tad disappointing tbh. You cannot always present a messy skate to the audience esp when you’re on the top of the podium that would make them cold.

  14. If Ilia keeps going this direction next season but is still unable to get fuxxing 7 quads landed successfully in competitions, I’d rather see someone else who has a perfect clean skate with also difficult jumps to take the olympics gold, for example, Misha Shaidorov. ISU pls stop always supporting skaters from powerful feds. Misha deserves better GOEs and PCs, as well as to be in the 300 club. His jumps are huge, effortless and beautiful. His consistency is superb.

  15. ISU, if you want to add more excitement to men’s discipline, and to creat a good rivalry between Ilia and someone else, you’d better hype Shaidorov up next season and include him into 300 club. Yuma and Adam have been defeated both physically and psychologically. Their technical abilities are just not there to compete with Ilia Malinin, but Misha Shaidorov can.

  16. Me going thru the movements of the whole routine bc I have watched it so many times. Ilia you are AMAZING!! What a great season! Congrats 🎈🎉🎊

  17. His skating skills and artistry are junior level. Shaidorov's jumps are more spectacular. It's time for an objective assessment!

  18. Baryshnikov on ice. The athleticism is amazing, and then there's the artistry. Cannot help but love his mouthing of the words.
