I can't single anyone out, but Col as a team is softer than Dal. It's not that they don't want it. Of course they want it. Their roster just doesn't have what it takes to defeat the strength, grit, heart, toughness, and resilience of Dal.
Col isn't the juggernaut we thought they'd be. They're the exact same team that handedly took it from Dal in past playoffs. And Dal isn't the depleted, defeated team we figured. They're resilient, far beyond what we expected. They've already won the series.
Col has taken it so badly from Dal in past playoffs, so they can't really afford to go home 1-1. Col can't afford to give them any hope. Now, Dal knows they've won. It's just a matter of 3 or 4 more games.
It's unfortunate, as it seems that Col can only score against Dal if the stars align, whereas Dal just has to turn it on for a bit. I expect Dal to get both games in Col. I don't feel Col believes they can win now. They've seen this before, and it wasn't supposed to be like this again. And Dal is very used to being here, and they're especially comfortable when up against Col.

"Left out to dry" is a bit heavy handed and inaccurate [clickbait]. It was one bad period where they let off the gas and one mistake in OT and Dallas made them pay. They also need to remember that the stars are notorious divers under the deboer system. Its the game he coaches. Rather than to try prevent dives, give the stars real reasons to be laying on the ice. It was great to see Mackinnon hitting guys. That needs to spread.

It was one game. Both teams were very even. Each team got a couple of lucky bounces. Dallas just got one more. Avs PK was good. It is what it is. I would have been very surprised if the Avs took both games in Dallas.
How is miles wood in the lineup
This always happens; Dallas loses first game, wins the 2nd.
Dallas is a great team with or without Miro and Robo.
If Avs pull out 2 wins here at home, then maybe it’s done…
But we all knew Dallas wasn’t just going to fold over because of a bad end of season stretch.
I’ve called Avs in 6, but I could easily see this going 7.
Necas, Makar, Nichuskin, Nelson; all can still step up and activate more.
