After an 8 game losing streak, I feel like the Stars lost the confidence and belief that they could win a game, never mind a series. But they proved me wrong. The desperation in their game, the physicality, with a phenomenal effort. Now that confidence starts to build and momentum is a real thing!! Go Stars!!

When Wyatt did most of his damage last year in the first round of the playoffs, it came on the top line with Robo and Roope. Kind of crazy they expect for Wyatt to score and play great with Benn as a linemate lol. Benn is currently in a decline, he turns pucks over every time it touches his stick, and he’s not putting the puck into the net when he gets ample scoring chances…if his line is having issues holding the possession, then how do you anticipate him being effective? This is no different than Robo and Roope with Pavs last year. How effective were they with Pavs on their line in the post season?
This isn’t to degrade Benn but just to add context around Johnston’s play. At the end of the season, Wyatt was scoring in spite of the poor performance of his linemates.

That was a great hockey game.
This always happens, Dallas loses first game then wins the 2nd.
Dallas is a great team with or without Miro and Robo.
If Avs pull out 2 wins here at home, then maybe it’s done…
But we all knew here in Colorado that Dallas wasn’t just going to fold because of a bad end of season stretch; don’t listen to the online trolls 😅.
I’ve called Avs in 6, but I could easily see this going 7.
Necas, Makar, Nichuskin, Nelson; all can still step up and activate more.

What is the “bing bong” thing? Where did it come from? Does it actually have a reason to be a thing? Or is it something the sound guy just started doing on his own like the “hi,ho, let’s go” thing, during play no less too. I don’t get it either one. I’ve never seen a game where they do sound bites while play is going on the ice. The screaming “yeehaw” after he announces the goals too… I don’t get either sound bite. No one yells “yeehaw” anymore… just makes no sense to me…
A sound bite they don’t don’t do enough anymore they did back in the day is “the stars at night, are big and bright 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 deep in the heart of Texas”
They also changed the music that plays after the opposing team scores. I hate when things change.
It was equally the fans win as it was the teams. Chanting blackwood trying to psych him out and standing at the game cheering harder than I ever had before to push our Stars over the hill 🥹
