Actually, the Jets beat the Blues 3-1 in their last regular season meeting.
Good comeback in the 3rd, which had been a rarity for this season. They were 2-16-1 in 19 games where they were trailing entering the third. Great time to improve on that record. The first 30 minutes or so looked very sloppy. Lots of giveaways and lost battles Appleton needs to be divorced from Lowry and moved down to the 4th line. He is not helping anything on the third line. Helle looked OK, but he needs to work on his positioning as he's getting beat glove side high a lot. The Stanley-Schenn pairing just terrified me. They are both slow, and Stanley still cannot make quick decisions. I did notice he hardly played in the third, thankfully. But in the playoffs, the Jets can't be having a defensemen playing sheltered minutes. It shows Arniel does not trust him, and if you can't trust him, get someone in there who can be trusted. Miller needs to draw in NOW, instead of waiting until the end of the series.
Tell Vilardi and Ehlers to take their time and hit 100%. Jets will need them to beat the Avs.
