Too much of a fight jockeying for position to chance a game with Rodrigue in net. Pickard has been pretty good this year so hopefully he gets to string a few games together to showcase himself.
11/7 tonight id assume, then draisaitl is back saturday. Praying for an avalanche win tonight
Play Pickard steady until Skinner is fully healthy…see what he can do with a string of games.
We may need Pickard in the playoffs to be our starter! If Pickard fails and Skinner is hurt or playing like crap we know what has to be done in the off season!
I like Skinner but he shows to be a backup goalie at best at this point in his ability or development.
Last nights game vs Dallas really hurt Skinner…4th shot on net goes in (bad). 2nd goal (bad). 3rd goal (bad). He has to be better and he knows it!
I still say the team defence sucks as soon as the opposition gets control in our end of the ice.
We never cover the open man who in turn scores a goal.
No confidence in Skinner and I think the team drops when a weak goal goes in!

I say give Rodrigue a shot and see what he can do. That’s how we found out that Skinner could take the pressure 2 seasons ago.
Gotta play Pickard every start while Stu is out. Rodrigue is way too small, and not good enough.
That's what we get with Skinner. Some good saves and some soft goals. I don't know why Oilers management hasn't figured out you can't win a cup with that.

Stick with Pickard and Rodrigue as backup for the rest of this season. Skinner is done with this team. Trade this sieve in the offseason. So sick of this overhyped and overrated sieve!

When are McDavid and Draisaitl coming back? Patrick, this question is for you: is there something wrong with the Oilers team doctors and training staff? This is some serious stuff, every damn game is questionable in terms of roster. Will the playoffs be a mess or will it be just like 1985 when they won the first 9 playoff games going into game three of the Chicago series? Looking forward to hearing from you, Patrick.
