The Sabres season wraps up with a win over the Flyers bringing the season total to 79 points, missing the playoffs by 12 points. I’m almost 60. Been a fan since day one of the franchise. If Adams is back I may finally just check out on this team.
Get ready Sabres fans because Adams will trot out the same team next year and you can expect the same results. It's almost like Pegula and Adams seems to think you can do the same things and expect a different result.
6 RFA contracts are up, Bernard-Docker, Byram, Kozak, Peterka, Quinn, Mcleod, If we resign them, are we any better ? There needs to be some trades to shake this team; 2 – 6 players. Having 3 injury prone players doesn't help either
If I were to categorize Rosen into just 2 attributes and give those each a percentage, I’d say he’s 100% Skill and 0% Desire.
He’s clearly got all the Skill in the world, but he plays with zero Fire!

Reimer did mention he will discuss with his family if he wants to call it quits or play another season, that near miss situation to the throat (that I have seen once before on the Sabres in Malarchuk) could have been not only very severe but could be a huge consideration to call it quits. If he does call it a career, I wouldn't blame him one bit and absolutely support him on that. Glad to hear Kulich, Rosen, Ostlund, and Kozak going to Amerks. I agree with Rosen not likely to be any kind of NHL player.

That was a quality job by the Flyers to clinch last in the East by playing their terrible #3 goalie who is already known to be heading back to the KHL. I guess I understand the Rosen-Mancari comparison, but Mancari was also a way bigger dude than Rosen. Also, Zucker seems like he's oblivious to things that are not going on around him. Like during the 13-game streak when he said: oh this isn't so bad, I had a longer one in Minnesota.

How Kev🌴n has managed to squander all those assets is almost inconceivable. Terry could’ve promoted Sabretooth instead and he wouldn’t have done any worse.

If your a playmaker in the AHL then they bring you up and put you on a checking line. What do you expect? Krebbs is the same thing he was always a playmaker

Please imagine this … the super talented Dahlin being a center for the sniper Tage Thompson. Dahlin is so creative and skilled, he would be a tremendous center instead an out of position D man .. . comments?
I mean, do you really expect Zucker to say yes, this team & organization are a joke to everyone around the league. Can you really imagine how much better it would be if the players & coaches were able to say what they want & feel in front of the cameras and not have a fear of being fined for it.
Cant blame anyone for not wanting to come here either. I mean lets be honest. The only time Buffalo doesnt suck is our short summers and most players go home for those months. I know I myself can't wait to get out of NYS.
To validate Zucker a bit, Montour did say that the problem with Buffalo was only the winning, and that it’s a great place to play. So yeah it probably is the Game problem, probably coaching staff as well. Maybe not Lindy but his staff. Perhaps let Lindy shake that up
I don’t see how you would change anything at this point? It’s all on what was built and what was found at end of season. It’s on the boys to keep it going. Coaching is good enough. Upper office is a joke and there’s really no option but to ride this out from what was built the last 5 years
I'm 60 and been a fan since day one too. I don't care about the past, moving forward is all I care about. This team has huge talent which can translate to more winning vs losing. Hire a psychologist and figure out who the shortstraws are and move them out. Take the last 20 and move forward with that mentality
There are 6 RFA on this current roster. If they are resigned will team be any better ? Rob Blake got the Kings back into the playoffs in 4 years with Deals and Trades. Nothing will change unless that happens. Now we have 3 injury prone players
