I would not be upset if they sign him to a cheap deal. Mrazek/Talbot with Lyon as a third is seriously a great set of options… lots of people have said we need better goaltending but I think this could be a great option if Lyon takes a cheap team-friendly deal. 🤷♂️

The reason this team keeps wiping our rosters/coaches and failing is because they're trying to build on a weak foundation. Larkin is a third line center on a cup contender and certainly not captain material at all
You ppl let emotions and personality take over to much. Lyon is very mid. I’ve never seen a goalie go butterfly and push off to make a save like he does. Hell slid a mile outta the blue. Never in a position to recover for the rebound. Plus he lets in quit a few easy routine saves. See yeah Lyon ✌🏻
He's worth more than a 900k / yr deal. He'll get a backup with a starter chance role elsewhere. Sucks, because Mrazek's cap is brutal for a 1A / 1B tandem next year.
Actually, yeah – his is the first interview I've seen where there aren't strong indications of a player staying put. I guess it's not unreasonable to half-expect the Flyers picking him up, but I would like it if he did stay put.
