Easter 2025
The ocean switched on this Easter, 15-20 foot was the forecast for Good Friday – a little bit of tow in occurred on the stretch but most action was in the harbour, including a dramatic rescue of someone swept off the breakwall. Harbour surfers include Craig Anderson, Dylan Graves, Zephyr LeRougetel, Sam Hodgson. Saturday, the surf was cleaner and Dixon Park is where it was best. Surfers include Joe Clem, Joel Jung, Tom Foggo, Jye Byrnes, Felix Byrnes, Amelie Bourke, Jackson Baker, Jake Cox, Joe Halkyard, Gus Nicholson

Grew up in the 1950's at Dixon Park ,with it's HUGE sand dunes – now gone – facing the beach, with p e d o ' s lurking in them. (Overflow from the Men's Bar Beach Pavilion?) Bread and milk delivered (separately) daily by horse and cart. Another by gone era.
